I ordered Kazza on a CD, rather than download. Has anyone ever tried to reach this figment of a company. The do not answer the phone in Washington State, They do not return email either Sonia or Support at Kazza.com. If anyone has experienced the same frustration let me know. I have yet to receive the CD, they got paid by my charge card and they will not repond. Bunch of jerks.
I only hope if and when it comes in, I never have a problem!!!!!!!!

I am having a problem running just burn 2.59, it will not recognize any cd, I have put at least 5 brand new blank cd's and it still won't recognize, can anyone please solve my dilema?

On a PC, there are at least two sources of Power control: The BIOS Power management settings, and the operating system Power management settings. The OS settings will be available from a control panel. The BIOS settings will be available via a special keydown at startup. Look for instructions as you start up your computer. If you only see a picture at startup and no words, type esc when you see the picture and hopefully now you will see words describing the startup process.

You will want to disable them both, and then update your registry backups a few times to make sure that your new settings "stick".

To update your registry backups, run SCANREGW or SCANREG from the "Run..." menu command. it should ask you if you want to backup your registry. Answer yes, and repeat this at least 5 times. 5 times may seem like a lot, but that's about how many backup copies the Registry is set to keep by default.

usually the registry backups are stored in a directory best seen from DOS:

(MS-DOS_Prompt)> DIR/W C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SYSBCKUP\RB*.*

If you see anything named RBBAD, you should delete it. "BAD" means BAD. This copy of your registry is somehow fucked up. You don't need to keep any copies of it. Likewise, if you ever see SYSTEM.BAD, you should attempt to delete it too.

Maybe your motherboard overheats and a shut down procedure kicks in. Other than that, I've no idea.

I'm not familiar with Rewire so much, and I haven't used Reason yet, but if you are on a Mac, make sure you aren't running two separate MIDI drivers at the same time. If you have OMS, just use it for both, and configure it accordingly. I don't think Rewire is specifically a MIDI issue though. Isn't that for digital audio sync? Well, that's what I read, anyhow. I think VST 2 is supposed to fix that. Maybe you are maxing out the CPU and RAM. Often when things don't work when they really ought to, it's because the RAM and CPU are being pushed beyond their limits. This is true for both Macs and PCs. Since Reason is awfully complex, and so is Cubase, I imagine that your system is getting quite a workout if you are attempting to run both on the same system at the same time. <b>I thought that Rewire was a protocol to synchronize audio programs between separate computers!!!</B>

Did you install Rebirth or Cubase after Reason ??

It's possible that you don't have the correct version of Rewire...if you did..

I'd recommend...Re-installing Reason !
(re-installing Rewire in the process)
