Sony make a very good PC Link kit which allows for transfer by digital, optical & analogue methods via the USB port.

if the keyboard has a midi out port u can use a cable (midi connections at one end/serial at other) to connect to the game port of your soundcard. you'll need to check device manager to see port is enabled and enable midi in in fruity (uder options). it's tricky process tho so be prepared to spend sometime being quite frustrated:)

I have a Compaq Presario that is about 4 years old and when I go to burn a CD using CeQuadrat Just!Burn, it will burn all my mp3 tracks, but comes back with a "error finalizing disc" every time. I have slowed down the writing speed, sped it up- nothing seems to work... any suggestions or are there any freeware software programs i can download to replace just!burn?

Before I had a problem getting it to finalize everytime, and now I can't get it to finalize at all. Using CeQuadrat Just!Burn. It will burn all my CD's just not fianlize them. What am I missing? I have slowed down the writing speed, sped it up- nothing seems to work... any suggestions or are there any freeware software programs I can download to fix my problems?

Problems with "JustBurn"? Remember the sittings!! I also thought there was something wrong with my pc/ softwear, but it was was much more simple than that, ("finger-fault") Read the instructions and try again.

it sounds to me that your disk isn't formatted correctly, but i've also experienced it from time to time with my audio CDs too. try reinstalling your cequadrat just!burn. right now i'm on a mac so i can't see where to go, but if you aren't sure where it's at, let me know and i can get on my other one at home to look where it's at. there are instructions on this site-- that's how i reinstalled mine, so if you look i'm sure they're there. i haven't had any problems since i reinstalled, so good luck and let me know if you need more help

I just figured that out today. I take it your downloading from Kazaa... before you download a song, glaze over it with the mouse, it'll give you a huge summary. At the bottom, it says "description" and songs that you notice that wont let you drag, watch and notice.. they probably have the same description. Solution? Glaze over the search results with the mouse and make sure you don't download that same description again.

Will it play files made by Cequadrat software? I too have a Compaq, and after installing XP, I discovered that not only did my Just Burn not work, but it would not recognize any of the files I stored using Cequadrat software! Help me!

I just bought a MP3 player for my car and would like to burn some mp-3's.
I also erased my CD creator basic so I can't even burn regular cd's!

WinXP and TakeTwo...

When installing, select custom install and leave out TakeTwo from the list of software. It has well known problems with WinXP. If you do not have a use for packet writing software, leave out DirectCD as well. You will have to update the SW to at least version 5.1 to work with XP, and you may need to update ASPI drivers as well.

Can this software take care of spliting the complete audio cassette in to number of MP3 automatically?
Each Song in the cassette should be different MP3 file.
