i like to know how to convert .cda files to midi
so that i could edit my cd tracks, I want to remove the vocal track from the cd help me out

There is a program called WIDI capable to polyphonic WAV to MIDI conversion. WIDI is shareware, you can download and evaluate it for free from

WIDI can use many different formats as input, including wav, mpg, mp3 and CD-Tracks.
Many recognition settings can be adjusted to improve recognition quality.
WIDI contains build-in Wave window to select a piece of sound to recognize and a build-in MIDI player to listen for the result.
Help documentation and sample files are provided with WIDI.

WIDI 2.7 works under Windows 95/98/2000/NT.
