NO NO NO
you cannot directly play HYUNDAI MIDI-CDs (Karaoke) CD on computer (may it be laptop or desktop). The anatomy of the CD itself does not allow it to be played back because of the type of the CD and & filesystem it has which is RedBook with MIDI data in it's subcode. Try checking the directory of the CD, the file named MUSIC01.dat actually contains all the MIDI songs which is compressed into one big chunk of data. Data extraction is possible in order to play a single file.
If you ask me how, I don't know.

As far as everybody is concerned, the only PLAYABLE KARAOKE CD on PC in the market is from LG Electronics.
Though very rare to find and if you are lucky enough to find one from your friend or colleagues, you can copy it to a recordable CD using CLONE CD.
It is marketed here in the Philippines under the name "LG Maestro" with model number FL-XXXX series. You must first copy the data file (RMIDI.IMG) to your hard drive before using an application (from a Russian site)that will directly extract the song list from the CD. You can even utilize the MPEG Video & Still Images as backgrounds and the fonts (colors, size and # of lines to display) are even customizable.

i have here an LG karaoke disc, its not rmidi.img but kmidi.img...i have downloaded the software from a russian website that can play the rmidi.img called LG-OKE. I copied the Kmidi and Kmidi_of into my hard drive. When i open the file using LG-oke it wont work, i tried to rename the file from kmidi to rmidi but still it wont open...WHAT's THE PROBLEM??? can u HELP me??? may be it has something to do with the LG CD version.... LG-OKE will only play LG CD v3.0 and V4.0... i have those CD but mostly in Russian songs... where can i download ENGLISH AND FILIPINO rmidi files???? plssssssss help

Do you where can i but those hyundai videoke player, i would like to have one for home use... the one that they are using in a videoke machine... thanks.

all music in the cd are in musical instrument digital interface which allows the computer to map it directly to the computer sound card. I have a hyundai cd and play it in my computer but the software I did it myself.
I then find a way to create my own hyundai player which I named it MY HYUNDAI PLAYER SOFTWARE which is basically created in Visual Basic Codes. I think I will place it in my web which is ... www.eudoramail.com/mamacmarino
Just wait there...it's for free..but I don't know WHEN coz' I need to go to an Internet cafe to upload it there... and it speak of time and rent...

Ang tanga tanga mo talaga... sat sat ka nang sat sat eh parang di mo nga alam kung ano ang laman ng cd ng hyundai MIDICD! for your info dong, there is no way na ma play ang MIDICD sa computer 'cause naka compress ang MIDI data into one big .dat file (MUSIC01.DAT)which hindi ma dedecode agad agad ng PC.

Nakakahiya ka cause pilipino ka pa naman at pinapaalam mo pa na patay gutom ka tangina mo. Pahuway ka na lang
kung wa ka ubrahon sa kinabuhi mo kupal ka! di pa english ka pa pro dili ka man angayan gago ka.
