b). Where I can download it for free, because we have been informed that you CAN download it for free.

U can burn them onto a blank cd at mp3.com...though u will only be able to burn the top 40-100 songs in the U.S!!! + only a few of the songs are transferable, (chosen to be on their own)...e-mail me if u find anywhere else to do this!!!

hey listen Nero sucks use something called TDK Mix Blender,just search for it. If you cant find it then go to www.downloads.com and yous this thing called DART CD Recorder put that in on the search engine great soft ware Nero to gay and complacated cya

Download "MusicMatch Basic" from www.musicmatch.
com. This program is FREE and will do the job you want. Will record to CD's in the Mp3 or .Wav format. Have FUNNNNN.....

Depending on the version you have, Nero should do the job. The current version supports direct MP3 to CD burning where it will decode the MP3s to WAV 'on-the-fly', making them ready to be burned to CD.

Even if the version of Nero you have is not the latest version and does not support direct MP3 to CD, you can download a Freeware MP3 decoder that will convert the MP3s to WAV format, which Nero will definately accept for burning to CD.

So;
a) no you don't need to <i>purchase</i> additional software, you may need to download a free decoder though, and
b) You can get Freeware MP3 decoders on <a href="http://www.mp3machine.com/win/DECODERS/">MP3Machine</a>

Note: it is best to burn audio CDs to CD-R discs, rather than CD-RWs

i've seen some but they are all half ass...next thing closest to that is getting on Napster and searching for original acapellas..not homemade. If anyone knows where they have anymore, please email.

Get a MP3 decoder on MP3Machine, like <a href="http://www.mp3machine.com/software/CoolDecode/">CoolDecode</a>, <a href="http://www.mp3machine.com/software/MP3DecodeDemon/">MP3 Decode Demon</a>, <a href="http://www.mp3machine.com/software/MP3Decoder/">MP3 Decoder</a> or <a href="http://www.mp3machine.com/software/MP3Box_win32/">Mp3Box</a>. With a decoder you can convert the three smaller MP3 files to WAV. You can then use any audio editor to paste them together and save as a single WAV file.

<a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/DDClip_Free/">DDClip Free</a> is a good Freeware audio editor that will do the job for you.

You know sometimes you don't need a whole lot to make a track sound good. I'm not bragging or anything, if I had more money I'd prolly buy more. haha But my broke ass is working up to that point. I use multiquence, goldwave and hammerhead rhythm station. Hardwarewise its a Yamaha psr-420, a guitar and a bass. You can see what they sound like when they come together at www.mp3.com/joshi-404 . Its hardly minimalist. haha Check it out, at the very least it might inspire you to make something better. If you do like it share it. Thats all. Peace, God Bless, One Love

I want to use a mesa/boogie triaxis preamp and a tc electronics G major processor. How do I control the patches on both with one midi foot controller?

If your triaxis is midi controllable you should be able to link the control board with the triaxis midi in socket at the back and then out of the triaxis midi out socket into the g majors midi in socket. If you have USER BANK chosen in your utilities and no patches saved there the g force will not respond to a midi programme changes from the pedal. Try selecting PRESET BANK in utilities to test the connection. If the triaxis has no MIDI capabilities but will respond to an ON/OFF footswitch to change channels then you can set the g major to send channel changes to your amp. it has a full explanation in the hand book that comes with the unit.

I have seen some WAV to MIDI programs here, plus there are some MIDI to print music software available. Do you have advice on which programs work and which doesn't?

ra2wav.exe unlock code

As you may well know, 2bsys.com no longer exists. They produced probably the best ra - wav convertor. In anycase, I am not able to register the shareware program and receive the unlock code. I am attempting to use the ra format to archive large wav files from my church's sermons, but need a way to return them to a state that can be burned to cd-audio upon request. If anyone can help me obtain an unlock code to the ra2wav.exe program, that would be greatly appreciated, and an anwser to my prayers! Thanks

POWER TRACKS

Power Tracks 7.0a is locking up after about 3 to 4 minutes of recording. It records fine, but then begins to write the file to a temp wav file and LOCKS the entire computer HARD (power down required).
Has anyone else seen this. I have tried TONS of stuff and still get it. Seems to be related to the file size, as shorter recording times don't seem to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem with Master Tracks v.5
It was a compatability prob lem with the system software and the version I was using. Are you on windows or Mac
My Master Tracks wouldn't run correctly after system 8 was installed. The Bus speed was too fast and would lock up if I tried to change the tempo in playback but it would playback and record okay if I didn't try to change any paramaters while playing or recording.

Extract PCM waveforms / Roland

Does anyone know if it's possible to extract waveforms (PCM) from soundmodules like Roland 1080 for instance ? It would be nice if there were some software that can extract sounds in their original PCM-form to a computer for treatment.

hi my name is peter i have been doing music for 10 years and i'm 19yrs old. i wanted to start a rock band but these days it's so hard to find musicians you like to work with.then i was watching a show on mtv call gribs. they showed the house of that gavin guy that is the lead singer of that band that sang glisorean. he showed his recording studio and all he had was a lap top computer a recording both and a couple of guitar and he said that is how he records. no my question is what music program(not too expensive) would i need that had all the instruments in it and recording capabiltes would i need to do this.also what else would i need?
