Change speed without changing pitch?

Is there shareware that will enable me to change the speed of an MP3 without changing the pitch of the music. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i use TIME/COMPRESS/EXPAND in sound forge.you will have to convert the mp3 to a wave first though......

I bought the NTrack studio and it has really helped me produce some good sounds but I think the efx are limited - can anyone advise of any add ons to improve the range of efx - many thanks

How to make MP3 CD for those MP3 CD (hardware) player!

Could anybody help answering me how to make a MP3 CD which can be played in those MP3 CD player. What format should it be and any special program can do?

I found that one of those MP3 CD is of this directory structure: with directory CDY01, CDY02... and each of it contains 10 MP3 files namely SONG001, SONG002 and so. I've burnt a CD with this structure but my MP3 CD player did not recognize the CD. Please help.

My brother deleted my napster libary, I saved all the songs to a win-amp file but when he deleted them it also deleted all my music files and now I can't retreve them any where plese help.

Yup; everyone in this thread is a bigger idiot than me,
and that's saying... a bunch.

1) Real Video, RAM, is a copyrighted, possibly patented software
format belonging to Real Networks.
2) The only people that can (legally) decode Real Video is Real Networks. [ie asking anyone else would make them, especially microsoft, laugh at you]
3) MPEG is free and mostly open.
4) Free and open systems have players available on many systems for free.
5) Real Networks' business model relies on people using their real player, and servers paying to stream to those players.
6) If Real Video could be converted to MPEG, people wouldn't be forced to use real player.
7) If you asked Real Networks to make a publicly available converter for Real Video to MPEG they would laugh at you.

My only question is, why hasn't someone laughed at all of you already?

All of a sudden I can't record onto a CD

For a number of weeks, I have successfully been using the CD creator program to record Napster music that is on my hard drive to a CD. All of a sudden, I am not able to do it. No music files show up on the left side of the setup screen, nor on the right when I click on Napster or My Music. I'm confused and would appreciate any help anyone could give me. Thanks.

Hello to all....I'm looking for software...what i need it to do is this.....i have a cd that is 70 mins long and it has one trakc only.....what i need this software to do is that i can take that same cd and add more track to it......
ex 70 min cd but 20 tracks...so that i can skip threw the cd....please help me if you can.....i have asked a large amout of people and not one of them know how to answer me......please help

I want to find a software program called "Rhapsody". I had an older version on my old Win95 computer, but it won't run on my new WinXP computer. I can't find it in any store. I've tried "Cakewalk" and "Voyetra" and I don't like them.

I use Noteheads IGOR Engraver (freeware) and Melody Assistant on a MAC and I believe PC versions exist as well. There are many others at many different costs: Virtual Composer, Finale,...

Most of the "Multitrack Recorders" available from SMM will do this. I use Magix Music Maker, and have used n-track as well, with good results.

Windows 98 or Millenium ?

Does the Millenium do a better job than Windows 98? (especially for realtime music software performance) I've heard something about the Millenium being more stable, but I don't know very much about the differences between the two OS.

Both sucks, sincerely.
But the ME, yes, it is more stable but you should b careful with old softwares.
