i need to burn a song onto a cd NOW!!!!!
its for a project and ive searched everywhere for it but it isnt there
its greenday-good riddance-time of your life and its deleted from all music files.

You have to convert MIDI to WAV to burn it on Audio CD that can be played with normal audio devices.
I have no time to search a converter application, but you can do that.
Try "midi to wav", "midi converter", "wav converter" or else on altavista.com.

You need a program such as Nero, if you have a CD burner, you can drag MP3's into it, and will burn them as CD audio, otherwise, with any program, you have convert the MP3 to a wav file. Use Winamp

mAN ITS SOO EASY...

use winamp!!!!!!

go to preference (alt+p)

and go to output.

change it to (out_disk.dll) and press configure

select a directory and press play.

thats it!!!

You guys are nuts. If you weren't using the demo, you could just set Rebirth on Song-mode, set the loop boundaries at the edges of the song, and then hit "Render to wav" or "export to Wav" in the menu.
I forget which.

Just get a legitimate copy.

What I do is open up a seperate application such as Sound Forge along with re-birth and record it from there. You may want to check the monitor button in what ever program you use to make sure the sound is getting there. If it isn't, you will need to open your sound cards control window and make sure the appropriate line isn't muted or something.

Perhaps you could explain what you mean, you see a
wav file is normal audio. With a bit more info we
should be able to help you.

Yes, get Wingroove. It does it pretty fast, and it's pretty accurate too.

I wish to record a guitar by using the microphone input
of the AWE64 card into cubasis VST as a Audio file.
I can hear the sound, but there is no recording level !

Win 2000: Stuttering sound

Hi everybody!

I have a strange problem: every 5.5 seconds my processor gets really busy, increasing the CPU usage to ca. 30% for a short period before going down to normal (ca. 3%) for the next 5.5 seconds.
I haven't started anything up but the implicitly started services and the task manager allowing me to monitor this event.

This process interferes with e.g. playing of sound, making the sound "stutter" for the ca. 0.2 seconds the processor bursts up to 30% and down again. This really makes the sound useless, it is pretty annoying!

Have anyone experienced the same problems, or have any suggestions about what I can do to get rid of this process causing this burst? I have tried watching the different process data in the Processes tab of the task manager, but the burst is too quick to be identified here.

I have a Compaq Deskpro 6000 PII with a SBLive soundcard. And yes, I have installed LiveWare 3.0 for win2k :-)

Hope anyone has some ideas, appereciate all help!

Interesting prob.. I'd check for virus scanners, or any other diagnostic, I'E norton utils, and I don't know if Win2K has msconfig.exe, but try killing a few TSR's..

I purchased an HP Pavilion 8670 2 weeks ago, to replace Pavilion 3100. I have installed my previous Encore for Windows 4.2 and Voyetra Software that came with my Casio CTK-540. Midi input and output doesn't work.Everything else is fine.I have called HP Support 2x and they know nothing about music.Call GVOX about Encore-- they say I'm set up right. Drove 2 hrs. to San Antonio to Circuit City (where I bought it).They installed my software into their demo--used their Casio--and couldn't get theirs to work either. Make the speed of ripping slower.
2 to 4 times is best.

When burning CD Audio it uses a wav file, and is burned in CD Audio format automaticaly. However, burn it on a CD-R writeable disc, NOT a CD-RW REwriteable disc.

You should choose
* Audio CD format
* Disc At Once
to burn Audio CD.

And I reccomend you to write them on a CD-R medium because CD-RW disc can't be read perfectly by normal audio devices.

there is an option on the file menu: Export Audio
this makes a "mixdown track" which contains all the audio from the virtual instrument and audio tracks. So you loop as much as you like and proceed, the you can use the generated file in another song, or delete the other tracks which use all the memory

I recently purchased maxi studio isis soundcard,
it comes with a rack of 8ins 4outs along with midi
inputs, also includes cakewalk, acid dj, cool edit pro
stienberg(cubase)two books, (isis user manual and intro
to logic audio pro isis). I told a friend who just
happens to build computers that I wanted to be able to
make my own cd's. this is what he sold me. after going
through all the programs I agree that there is more
shiznit in this thing than I could ever utilize. how-
ever, I have been expiramenting for three weeks and
have only managed to record one wave with my mic and
that was by accident. I've read both manuals over and
over, plugged in my guitar, hit record(nothing) I'm
not doing something right. there's so much stuff in
this thing I don't know where to begin.
I need to know SIMPLY HOW TO record my instruments so
that I can hear the results. I could have bought a 4-
track and got more satisfaction. I'm sure that this
thing (isis), will eventually pay off but damn! it
would sure be nice if I could make it work.
p.s. I've spent a lot of money on a state of the art
system the money is gone I NEED HELP!!!
