Try Nero Buring ROM, it converts mp3's straight to cda's and then automatically burns them to cd.

try aptec i use it on my yamaha cdrw

I use Adaptec CD Creator which I think is great.It also comes with layout prog. so you can design your CD covers!

Realtime "stand-alone" DSP Software

Hi all,
Is there a program that can capture the sound output from another program(player)and at the same time passes the information to the output of the soundcard and supports DirectX plugins?
This way it's possible to use any program with the cool functions DirectX has, like :
echo, flanger, Delay, Chorus, compressor/limiter etc.
There's a program I use (Raduga)that a want to support a compressor/limiter.

All you need to do is download the update wavelab 3.03 or 3.01 from the steinberg website.

Bin to wav

I need some help converting my audio BIN files to either wav or mp3 format.
I downloaded a program called Fireburner (aka BINchunker) which is supposed do this, but it requires the CUE file.
My audio BIN files don't have these files, probably cause i downloaded them from the internet. Can anyone help? Thanks, Jums

Buffer settings??

I'm getting shaky recordings when I try to record
into Wavelab. I'll hear little glitches in timing
every so often(similar to a MIDI quanitzation error, but I'm not using MIDI). I've tried laying
it down hotter/quieter, 16 bit/24 bit,etc.
I have plenty of RAM(128)HD(20gig) and processor
speed(450mhz). I've heard suggestions about adjusting buffer size, but I don't really understand it
1) What does buffer number represent??
2) What does buffer size represent??
3) Should I double the number and size to see
if it makes a difference, or just tweak
gradually??
This stuff gives a need for "Buffer-in" !!!

I have had good luck with software from Goldenhawk

Conversion of File Formats

Help!!!
I play bagpipes in a Pipe and Drum Band and do all the music for our band. I can create midi files with the program that I use to create the music (Bagpipe Music Writer Pro) but posting the midi files to my website often leaves a lot to be desired on playback depending on the sound card of the person listening. So I would like to convert the midi files to a better format for listening AND also I wish to put our tunes on a master CD so others in the band can LISTEN to exactly how the music is written. What software do I need to do the conversions for both of these processes.

if i disable controll all,and enable control each,i.e controller 71(filter res)(filter cut off)do i have to change parameter values to every note i have recorded?,and if so how do i get the q-80 to respond to this continuous data stream i wish to create, lets say for examample note g#3 with a parameter control data of 127(max),if i
take my next note c#2 and suggest the next note parameter is 120,next note value 90 then in theory i should be able to hear the filter of my

Extend the competition? I'm afraid we can't. It wouldn't be right to change the conditions of entering and so forth. The best I can recommend is that you subscribe to <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/news.html">'Music Software Weekly'</a> to keep up with all the latest on-site news and take a trip over here every so often. We're bound to be doing some fun stuff in 2000.
