Re: easy cd creator 5 not recognising blank disks

mine does the same thing im not sure why it does that im haveing a problem with my easy cd dreator its telling me i need to update my windows before it will install i did that and its still telling me to do that can anyone help

You can capture the MIDI as a WAV by using a program like <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Silent-Bob/">Silent Bob</a> or <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/TotalRecorder/">Total Recorder</a>.

quit trying so hard. hire a friend to do what
you can't. just be sure to pay them with pizzas,
money, or sex. if you're really hot to get the
right software doing what you've been dying to
know how to do, go hang out with other people who
do it. sure, you want to know the easy answer, the
quick answer.

life is not like that. at least not with audio software.
so unless you want to spend the time to learn, just pay someone
else to do it for you. you could just bug somebody to do it for you
for free, but sooner or later they will get pissed off at you.

do yourself a favor, hire a producer, or become an engineer.

give audio output to computer input and save the file in cool edit software. after saving you may burn your cd's in mp3 format with help of any cd writer.

I found a good one in the soundfont file: "05_6mg Aspirin Stereo V1_2 Bank" that I downloaded from thesoundsite.ismi.net. it might still be there for download.

and sequencers to make your kind of music.

I need some help on some music creation. Im interested in making music that has a dream-trance/ATB feel to it. Iv been working on this for a few months but does anyone know what kind of instruments or filters that could be used to create these kind of sounds. Just got a trial version of your Easy CDDA Extractor. Oddly, it failed to extract several times in a row, trying different (DVD vs. CDRW) drives and different audio CDs. Then I changed the target file from the simple default "My Music" under Windows ME to the SAME file folder found by browsing the directories, and then the extraction worked fine! This could turn off some of your potential users (and eventually customers?), since they'll think the program doesn't work and give up before trying this. You may want to fix the software and/or give people a mandatory "readme" file to tell them this.
Still evaluating. Program looks good so far.

Fruityloops, fruityloops, fruityloops. Orion might be good too - both a re free demo downloads (to give you an idea of the interface), and very cheap to register.

I HIGHLY recommend Cubasis VST by Steinberg. If you hven't heard about VST instruments & effects, then I would check it out. You can load pre-made samples just like Sonic Foundry's Acid, but it gives you new realms of flexibility, plus the opportunity to add VST effects to everything.
As to the VST instr's & fx themselves, there's LOTS of freeware out there from synths to drum samplers [for instr's] & chorus to distortion to reverb to pitchshifters to any effect you can think of.
And, when your done playing with pre-made samples, you can either record your own audio tracks or program your own midi tracks & make some truly unique music.
Personally, I'm using Cubase, the pro-level software, but Cubasis is the 'beginners level' version.
Check out this like for a demo...

try acid by sonic foundry its cool and its a free download, well the demo of it anyway,from hitsquad, also try reaktor thats pretty cool also.

I have GS,se whith cubase uppdate 5,0 and reason and nothing seems to work - i've tried about everything - and it worked ok with GS and cubase -but now i hear "pops" or "clicks" in my audio - but only when GS is launched with a performance???- if i just launch cubase and make a recording (or many) there is no clicks. Reason wont work at all. By the way - i have R4.

I recently bought the inlaws a burner so they could make their own cds but,
the existing music is in winamp format. I cannot find the converting program
supporting the burner and HP burner will not recognize the winamp format.
If anyone could suggest a complete converting
program I would be very greateful.

Winamp format? What is the file extension for that? The newest version of winamp has 32 file types associated with it.

As far as conversion software goes, I have a free one called dbpoweramp, it works very well for converting files. The link it to their website.

You can come here and download software. There is no need to do so if you don't want to. Nothing is compulsory here.

If you do want to download software, it's easy. Say you go to the <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/FruityLoops_win95/">FruityLoops</a> page. Look for the link that says DOWNLOAD. You'll be able to work it out from there.

midi client working in my machine in order to have
Cakewalk pro-audio work in conjunction with other
midi program.
First--how do I install hubis cable in win2k and
Secondly--will it work with the Sound Blaster live
driver.

when i create the synth for a song in rebirth and change the pitch and tone then pull it up in acid it only pulls up the synth without pitch and tone changes (tune, cut off, reso, decay and sorts). what am i doing wrong.

Our company is developing its own video codec & player; we are looking for an associated audio player, as compact as possible, licence free (primarly for Windows).

So many sound players are available! Which one would you choose ? Do you know a good SDK for that purpose ?
