Its easier you think! Load the song new stuff and do a left mouse click on trancy 2. Then click on the window button (with the waveform) in the upper left corner of the ts404 window an choose "save state as". Now you can save the synth preset in a directory so you can use it in your own songs.

Cakewalk Metro feedback

Anyone care to comment on Cakewalk Metro? I have a newer iMac (OS 9) and am looking at getting Metro to build a home studio around it. Any good or bad comments appreciated.

I've just started playing around with Metro SE.
I'm on a 333 Hhz iMac w/96 Mb RAM. My decision
was based primarily on the relatively low ram
requirements. If I had more ram I'd have gone
ProTools or Cubase.

soundblasterlive!value input

I have a SBlive!value card which should have stereo jacks. However, when I plug in my mixing desk to the mic input only one channel will work. Does the card need configuring to stereo in? If so, how do I do it?Or is it mono?

Use the line in. Must select that input in Windows mixer.

Removing Vocals/Lyrics from MP3s

Hi

You'll have to convert the MP3 to WAV and hope that the vocals have been mixed center.

Try <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/YoGenVocalRemover/">YoGen</a>. Give it a go.

Hello!
I've connected my keyboard Technics KN200 via midi cable to Soundblaster Live! Player 5.1. But when I play on it my sequencing software Cubase isn't receiving any input data.
Why is that?
Do I need to setup my keyboard so it'll be able to send through midi out on channel 1 or does it do that by default? Do I need to install drivers for the keyboard (it hasn't got any)?

The problem is that while creating a cd, (700 mb), both, the wav files and the mp3's, allow exactly the same number of files to be copied. Eg: A wav. file, 350 MB's converted to mp3 is 28 MB. I can burn only 3 of these files on my cd-r. The same 3 files in wav. too (350mb), can only be copied. The compression part seems to be missing & also that the 3 mp3 files add up to a total of 72 MB, & the cd is 700 MB. Yet I cannot burn more than 3 files.
Any response will be appreciated.

Hi, the files are far too large, a wav is normally around 40 mb not 350 mb. If you go to my site and go to 'the help page' youll find music match and full instructions including print screen shots. :)

you gotta convert your mp3's to wav first. then you can burn them as either data or audio.

convert your mp3 to wav first then you can burn either as data or audio.

Ok Im using Easy CD Creater 4 (Adaptec) Im burning to CD-R's and my burn is a LG CD-RW CED-8080B I belive this is a newish burner. thanx

Copying MP3s to MD

I'm trying to copy some of my MP3s from my laptop to my MD player but I keep getting a ticking noise on the final copy that kick's in every 5 seconds or so and sounds like it's skipping (the good old vinyl days, eh?). I have tried to turn-off everything on the laptop except Napster but it still makes no difference. There seems to be at least one process running in the background.

I am using a Dell Laptop running NT4 and trying to copy to a Sony MD Player.

Any helpful hints or suggestions?

qbase with a network card???? problem

I've got QBase software and after a couples of weeks, i install a network card on my computer. The problem is when i try to enable the compressor!!!!
It's doesn't work, i hear the compressed sound a half second after the original?????

Can you help me with that...
