: there is no longer any software package available to convert Real Audio to Wave format. I have the old RA2WAV package but this does not work 100% with the newer Real Media files. And the company that made this software have stopped developing this package. they now have developed a different converter, Streambox Ripper, which doesnt cater for Real Media files.

I'm no expert but Reaktor should come with it's own driver so you shouldn't need to use Hubbis to link it to Cubase. Look for 'Generator Internal Midiport' It's in Reaktor midi inputs list also a Generator out in out list (!). Maybe these could do the trick - or maybe I'm talking rubbish!

Hi If you dont like the sounds in Rebirth go to proppelerhead web sit download some rebirth mods in otherwords different sounds and instruments. get yourself a copy of something like Soundforge or Cool Edit pro to chop your sounds up in you have Logic what more do you need samplenet free samples basically you need a good sequencer which you have, a good audio editor, A keyboard doesnt even have to be that good a one nowadays as long as it has midi some soft synths trawl the net you will find loads ranging from free to a few hundred pounds things like Reaktor. Reality, Vaz modular Gako star, get yourself a software sampler if you like before buying one of the expensive ones eg Giga sampler check out Virtual sampler very easy to use you obviously have the musical talent any way there is loads more things but just to get you started i hope this helps Oh sorry the other poss if you are just wanting to see how you go is the mighty Acid some people say it is cheating perhaps they dont know all the things its capable of check it out at Acid Planet all of the stuff I have mentioned is available in some form on the net so just put the names in a search engine and take your pick also check out Computer Music, The Mix, Sound on Sound, Dance Tech web sites

What software do you use? I've been messing around with Rebirth2.01 and logic. They seem to be ok, at least logic. But the problem i have with rebirth, is that i Really dont like the samples of those really old classic technomachines of roland =) So actually, i need a good tool to make simple dance beat which actually sounds good.

Your car cd player can only play music that is in
wav format andsince music on napster is mp3 format
you have to convert it to wav format before
burning your cd. You can do this with Winamp or
easyCD 4.0 which can do the conversion on the fly.
