Just download it, but warning, it's an hidden file!

then copy it in windows\system\ and now it works.

Where to find imagehlp.dll

Error "...Imagehlp.dll, was not found" When Starting Illustrator 9.0 for Windows

Issue
When you try to start Adobe Illustrator 9.0, Windows 98 returns the error, "A required .dll file, [X]:\Windows\System\Imagehlp.dll, was not found," where "[X]" is the system drive.

Solution

Copy the imagehlp.dll file from the Windows 98 CD to the Windows\System folder:
1. Insert the Windows 98 CD.
2. In Windows Explorer, double-click the win98 folder on the Windows 98 CD.
3. Expand the *.cab file containing the imagehlp.dll file:
- If you use Windows 98 First Edition, double-click the Win98_32.cab file.
- If you use Windows 98 Second Edition, double-click the Win98_30.cab file.
4. Copy the imagehlp.dll file to the [X]:\Windows\System folder, where "[X]" is the system drive.
5. Restart Windows.

Additional Information

Illustrator 9.0 requires the imagehlp.dll file to locate several folders (e.g., the Illustrator plug-ins folder, the Fonts folder). This file is not installed with Windows 98.

You need to have internet explorer 5.5 downloaded and then you search for setupw95.cab file and then you extract imagehlp.dll file out of the cab and to c:\windows\system

Hi!I just read this old posting,a friend of mine uses the sp-groove-templates in cubase to trigger a sp...easier programmin that way.
If you`re interested let me know, perhaps you can mail me the mpc 60 templates..
Is there any difference between the 60/60-2 groove-templates?

The "real" issue

The real (pardon the pun) problem here is not converting the .ra files to .mp3 or .wav, but rather downloading .ra files instead of streaming them. I see where RealPlayer will allow .ra files to be saved, but the download is at streaming speed and the resulting file also retains the "network congested" delays!!! Is there anything that can trigger a web site to allow quick downloading of a .ra file instead of streaming??? TIA for your help...

MS-Format-Windows Media Player- Got ?

MS-Format seems to be a much smaller file size than MP-3 format. Is this a widely used file ?
Can non-Windows Players play MS-Format ?

It's usually worth pointing out what equipment your using, not so much the cassette but the computers Audio ports.

In most cases, you should have a 3/8inch (MiniJack stereo) jack output from your computer (Macintosh) or sound card (PC) and an input into your Cassette deck in the shape of 2 RCA (phono) connectors. If this is the case, buy a "stereo 3/8inch jack cord" to 2 x RCA (phono) connectors and your done.

If you computer has a Minijack input then you could record from you Cassette decks RCA outputs into the Microphone/line input on your computer with the same lead...

You record them first as .wav and then convert them to mp3 . The only program I know that can record directly to mp3 is Musicmatch 4, although the are maybe others.

the recording sofware for the sb does`nt work since
win 98 upgrade and if i try to run the sb install

A friend of mine just bought a Mac G4 and much to his chagrin discovered that there is no audio input. He is trying to transfer his Vinyl collection to CD. he is planning on using "Toast" to do the transfer, but is having trouble figuring out what kind of hardware (i.e., cables and/or preamp) that will be required to make the connection. Hi turntable has a coax output. is there some sort of a low cost device that can be used to bring the turntable analog signal into the MAC via USB or firewire?

When I recorded my vinyl to CD I used a mixer between the turntable and computer to control the volume and boost the high and low end of the music so that it sounded more like an original recording. I use GOLDWAVE to record from my line in on my soundcard. I have found the program so useful that I registered it. I think you will agree after you download it and try it out. You can edit ANY part of the song ANY way you like. From simple commands like cutting out silent space at the start or end of a song to complicated tasks like noise gates to remove hissing or pops, automatically. Check it out.

typing/printing notes, words and chords

Looking for a simple program that would allow me to place notes on a staff. Print words under staff and chord names above staff and then print.

No need for Mac to play them, just print what I've set up.

I have 'limited' understanding of electronics and cant make any sense out of the schematic diagrams I have downloaded from harmony central etc. I can use a soldering iron! so I would appreciate anyone offering anymore information.

always wondered whether it was my home-made MIDI interface.
I went and bought a simple Apple MIDI interface for half the price
it took to build my own. What a waste of time and dosh.
The Apple interface if I remember right cost me about the
the equivalent of 20 dollars. Go for it. It connects to either to your
printer socket or modem socket and has one midi in and
one midi out. Good luck.

I've got one I will be getting rid of shortly. Can you still use it.
