You are right, it`t quite a bad program. But there`s no miracles on the earth, a wave is not a midi. Try Cool 96 and its "voice cut" preset.

I'm far from an expert & only have Cubasis Audio ver1.6 which came with my AWE64Gold. I did have a similar problem but I think I was able to solve that by trying different settings in a utility called setup MME with came with Cubasis. I made WaveSynth/WG MIDI inactive. If you have that utility maybe try making some settings inactive & narrow down which one causes a problem.

What media are you using? I have a new car with Phillips RC600 tuner and cd player and my burnt Imation CD-R's get ejected. Tested a mates burnt Kodak Gold and Verbatim CD-R's and they work perfectly, however, his burnt Imation CD-R's don't work on my Phillips RC600 cd player either so looks like I have found the solution. You should try all media until you find some that work. I thought the car cd player was non-compatible but pleased I checked out other media. Elsewhere on the web Mitsumi Silver is recommended to over-come this problem. Good luck!

it could be the media you are using, are u using gold bottom media or another color? or your car cdplayer is just to old to read cdrs. i have old cd players that can read copies. later

as some free trial versions of Cubase as well as of PaintShopPro
(or similar) are available, why don't you shoot them yourself?
You will get (1) exactly the shots you need (2) much faster
(3) in your desired resolution, color depth and file format.

MIDI quality is by no ways determined by the MIDI drivers. MIDI files
only contain information about which note should be played at a specific
time. Drivers only do the communication between the program (the game) and
the hardware (the soundcard). If you want to improve the sound quality,
get a synthesizer which has higher quality. There's no information in a
MIDI file about how the note should sound exactly - just a GM patch,
which is nothing more than a "rough guess".
