I'm 13, I have a dream to become a popstar. I practice everyday and everywere.My family and friends think that I am really good. I practice singing to pop, rap, country, and some of my songs I have written already! I just need to be heard. Please!

I am 14yrs old. I have been dancing since the age of three and it's always been my dream to be a popstar. I don't know how I can become one though. I can sing, dance and act and have lots of talent as I've been told off many people. I can wait until I am 16 but need to know now how to become a popstar.

Iam 14 also and every since i was 2 i have been singing my school always haves me to sing at there programs my music teacher said i have a buitful voice! I've always wondered what's in the minds of cool people like you.
I have done a bit of research on this kind of thing.
You have to decide if you want to be good, or if you want
to be a financial success. This sounds like bad news, but
really it's not. It will help you focus. If you want to
become really really good, then keep reading and studying and
practicing everything about singing and music performing.
Dedicate and devote yourself to it. Otherwise, if you are
just after the success, then you should focus more upon making
yourself attractive to major labels. If thats what you want,
then you should consider plastic surgery (unless you're already
stunning), professional dancing lessons, studying entertainment law,
study performance art and shock artists, study marketing (and guerilla
market strategies). Overall, you'll want to try to learn everything
about hyping up your persona. Develop a persona, a logo, a business
card, some photo and video promo kits, get yourself interviews on the
radio. Learn how to sound like you're already famous, even though you're
not yet. I have found that famous people are very crafty when it comes to
hyping themselves up and making themselves seem larger than life. Most
famous people use a made-up name so that they can control when and where
and how they act and are seen. Most megastars are mostly about looks, so
you'll want to learn all there is to know about looking and acting gorgeous.
You should take some acting classes. Learn how to flirt. Take some community
courses on relationships, flirting and dating--but use it to make love to the
cameras. Some softcore pornography wouldn't hurt either. Basically sell out
big time, but avoid the harder stuff. Don't do drugs, but act like you can.

OK. If it's the second route that you take, then you'll probably have a shot at
making it. That's because you'll have so much of a look and feel going, that people
will want to get you before someone else does. If you are really good, you'll still
keep doing option number one too, just in case anyone ever challenges your talents.

You are already very talented and smart, so option number one is really not a choice.
You must try this if you are serious about becomming more skilled in a wonderful way.
Option number two is really just the details of the game.

I have never tried any of this stuff other than just working privately on making good
music. So don't take me the wrong way. I would never sell out, but it is an option
for a young beautiful talented thing like yourself. For some people, it works.

Most famous people get to a point where they hate it.
They lose their lives to their work. Their privacy dissolves.

I've stumbled onto some actors and actresses who seem to like
to change identities and stuff just to get away from the game.

You need to accomplish four operations it appears.

1. Rip the music from the CD. Capture the music and write it to the computer's hard drive.
2. Edit the file. Modify the captured file to what you want to play of each song.
3. Merge the edited files. Using an editor join the files into your desired mix.
4. Burn the files. Record it on a playable format, Cassette or CDR.

There is a vast software selection on this site, which will allow you to secure several programs to accomplish your needed feat.

: My daughter is a ballet instructor. She needs to copy portions of music (ie start at 40secs end at 1min 32sec)from CD's to the computer. Then write them to CD. What shareware is best for doing this apparently simple task?
