Andrea,
There are a few programs out there that can write directly from mp3 files to CDs, but they will cost you more money than a commercial CD anyway...
The only other way to make a CD from MP3 files is to use a decoder to change the MP3 files into cd-quality WAV files, then use your CD-writing program to make an audio CD from the WAVs. There are several good decoders available, and some cd-rippers and MP3 encoders are bundled with MP3-decoders. "CD-Copy" is fully capable of decoding mp3 files.

Its easy - just put winamp into silent mode.
goto WINAMP -OPTIONS- PREFERENCES - OUTPUT - AND FROM THERE SELECT OUTPUT DEVICE - SILENT
thatll ask you for a place to put the *.wav files and from there write to CD using your Cd writer program

Well. It seems to me like there is a way to make cd's unburnable. I have an unburnable cd. I bought this regualr burned cd from a DJ that was recently in town and for some reason I can't burn it.

When you burn a CD, there should be an option to close the CD to prevent anything further being burnt to it.

hey...........I did what the instructions said and it didn't work, well it didn't convert shit.......and now winamp doesn't work at all.

I am now convinced that winamp sucks....and I will delete it because I don't see how it got messed up if nothing the modifications didn't do shit.

Try CDMaster32 ... it does CD to WAV to MP3, MP3 to WAV, and MP3 / WAV to CD-R.

It also support Winamp Skins.
