I have protools on my computer and when I download software it keeps going into protools where I can not access it. What am I doing wrong? I have tried both the options of downloading and neither seem to work.

you are wrong bro, there are definately wav to midi converters out there, look hard enough and you'll find em. I just read about one last week, although it said the wav had to be instrumental

How to convert mp3's to wav's

When you'd change your preferences in Winamp
program, you should choose "Output", and then,
in the box it says Sound Blaster Output or
something like that, you choose Wav file. Then
the program creates a Wav file silently, I mean,
you won't hear nothing while it's converting.
You have to tell it the folder where you want
to save the Wav file.
I think with this it's all OK.

Traktor help

I'm trying to mix my own cd with Traktor, how can i set it up so that it automatically fades in the other deck when the cue point is reached?

Does anyone know of any good traktor tutorials or message boards out there?

I have just been in contact with Adaptec / Roxio about software for my new IOMega CD Burner. The support people have been fast and helpful to this point.

Unfortunately, Toast 5 Platinum needs to be shipped to sydney, Australia to be effective for me. So I hope that the next repsonse tells me how to make that happen when the Roxio websites I have visited are restricted in their shipping destinations "for legal resons".

I bought Roxio's Easy Creator 5. It proved to be an expensive mistake!
My windows mE recover software wasn't working, so I decided I'd buy a HP CD writer from UBID. When it arrived, it was like buying a car without an engine. Just the unit. Only legalese and a 15% restocking fee form UBID. I kept it. Bought Roxie's Easy CD Creator from Best Buy. It wasn't the best buy by a long shot. Easy Creator didn't come as bundled software on my system, but apparantly it came on the restore software that I got from the factory.
I backed up my important work, and after attempting to reinstall Easy CD Creator 5.0 I got the error message "And older version found on your system. Please uninstall." I went through an exhaustive search of my system ,removing all refernces of Adaptec, and Easy CD creator 4.0.
Exhausted, I brought the computer to Best Buy, and after literally duplicating what I had done, they came to the same conclusion-I had to use another software maker. To redo what I had done, Best Buy charged me $30 and sold me another title. ALL THAT ROXIE WOULD HAVE HAD TO DO WAS TO ALLOW ME TO OVERWRITE THE ORIGINAL NON-EXISTENT VERSION, BUT NO.
I called Roxie, and there was NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I couldn't return their fresh $100 software, and they only provided complimentary assistance for the first 90 days of manufacture. They would provide service at $35 per incident,at a toll phone number!
Hewlett Packard is to software customer service,what Home Depot is to product customer service! They should not bundle anything from Roxio's, which fall on the opposite side of the service Bell Curve!

I bought a TEAC CD-W512EB and found the 4.02d version of EasyCD did not support this drive either (despite the fact that the Roxio website said it would). However, there is an upgrade to 4.03 at the Roxio website. Try that. It worked on the TEAC.

I doubt there is an age where you can't learn an instrument. It would be in the physical movement area that would determine whether you can do it or not.

I have a keyboard but am not a keyboard player. I can get away with a couple of keyboardy type passages although I have never been taught. If you can afford it, get a tutor. If not, then there are many books and publications to get you started. Learning the musical theory is a good place to start.
