I know there is a program u have to download i think...im a KJ and DJ and need to know how to download em from imesh and put em on a cd where the words come on the screen...i can download them, but there is no video

Mp3 to Wav Convert Problem.. Wav File Slow

hi
i have some mp3 that play fine.. but when i convert them to Wav, the file is converted slow.. so the singing and song is like slow mo... ( i would say around 1/4 slower than normal)
However... converting other MP3s at the same time are fine...
I am using Music Match..

Any Suggestions

The bus speed is a main difference which can be important for multi-channel sound cards because the amount of data being transferred goes up. Still the ISA bus is plenty for most stereo sound cards--though most newer computers (later than year 2000 or so) don't come with an ISA bus at all anymore.

If you want to try running old DOS games for fun (or gee whiz factor) then it's difficult to get a PCI card to work with these old games in DOS sometimes. The ISA cards are usually much more compatible, but most people don't want to run these anymore. Call me retro.

I can't seem to get rid of the ssssss in my vocals! I used Dave Bown's de-esser amnd it seemed to work but still I have some ssss coming out! I'm looking for a free plugin out there is there any???

I have been trying unsuccessfully to find an editor or software sound modifier that I can change the tempo and (maintain the same pitch),on the fly is there such an animal?
Specfically, prerecorded CD's converted to wav files and or LP's done the same 45's etc, can you help me out on this one?
I have the full blown version of sound forge but it will not do this feat

Can I convert Type 1 MIDIs to Type 0??

You can probably load them into a sequencer but you will have to fold out the tracks as Midi type 0 is one track with multiple tracks in that one track. Midi type 1 is multiple tracks.

Check the file area here as there are lots of midi utilities there.

I don't know what a Roland vs-890 is, but if you want a computer-based studio, you should get a computer multitrack recorder like Cool Edit Pro 2.1 which, for me is the best.I´m also working in improving my sound to make it the more professional I can. Maybe I can help you if you are interested in getting this version of Cool Edit Pro
