burning Karaoke cd's

Help! We downloaded the goldenhawk software and had a yamaha CD writer CRW2200EZ installed. We get audio and most of the words but a lot of the text is missing on the screen. We are using clean discs. Thank You

Typically, messed up graphics is associated with read / write speed. Some users of the 2100e and 2200e report trouble reading subchannel data for individual tracks, however, burning at full speed yields a perfect copy.

Verdict: The 2100/2200e burns CDG just fine, but will not read that extra 96 bits of info properly. I recommend you return the Yamaha, and get a Plextor (any newer model) or Sony (100.130 or 140) that will back up CD+G properly.

I am trying to find some good program(s) that allow you to put effects on vocals. Any that have many effects and not just the standard ones like phaser, chorus, ect. Particurly electronic/synthy sounding.. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks.

You'll find a few decent programs in the <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/cat/EFFECTS/">effects</a> section of this site. I use an audio editormyself. I crunch the hell out of vocal tracks and samples. I wreck them for my own amusement.

Hi,

I dont know of a one track audio recording, but there's Anvil Studio 2000.07 which is freeware.
Its a multitrack editing software. I believe you
can record with it too. If that doesn't work,
check out http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/freeware/95/
You'll see a big list of freeware music software
with descritpions, you might find what you want
there.

trouble recording with nero

Having trouble with recording my voice onto cd burner. This is my first time doing it, can anyone help with how I record voice onto my cd - rw and then play on my portable cd player.

You'll need to record your voice as a WAV file before you can burn it onto a CD, and
then you'll probably need to use a CD-R instead of a CD-RW. Unless your portable CD
can read CD-RW discs (unlikely, but not impossible), they won't work.

i d/loaded a trial of syxg50 and it worked fine and gave me the exact sort of sounds that i needed. i write my own midi songs and i need those exact sounds i had.i am not sure exactly what version it was i had(think its 3.0)but the trial has run out now and i tried to un-install it and install another free version but the origional one i had will not un-install, it says
unable to locate installation log file
C:\windows\deisl1.isu.
after trying to un-install it i could still play my songs but it is using syxg50 2.0 and the sounds are very plain.
when i try to install syxg50 3.0 it says that it can detect another version of syxg50 and to un-install it, restart and try to install again.
i can not do this. i cant un-install the version i had without the file mentioned above and i dont know where the other version 2.0 came from and how to get rid of it!!!!!
i really need my sounds back but i need basic steps to follow to do this as i am not advanced at the computer.
so please help me with my problem.

Are you using stereo effects in your concerts?
If not you could pan the click track hard left
and have the rest go thru right channel to the PA.

A question for you. Do you get a delay between
note trigger and note sound with your SYXG50?
I do, which makes my card useless for live
performance or with multisynth sequencing.
It it my drivers? How do you use yours live?
