trying to convert files with .ra extention to WAV files, I've downloaded an RA converter but it doesn't seem to work & there aren't any instructions as to the best way to do it. thanks.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. I have a demo CD that my band has recorded that I want to post onto our web-site. I have used Media player 7 to convert the tracks into mp3 so I can listen to them on my pc. My webpage is part of geocities who only support midi and wav files. When i try to upload to my webpage I can't because of a licencing problem. Any Ideas!!

Don't know it's a working idea, but.. Try renaming the file extension of your MP3 files in f.i. .wav If uploading works, just rename them again to . MP3

I'm no expert, but have you tried to convert them back to .wav? You can download a free utility from www.remixer.com.

I'm using an 8MB waveset for my midis, but they don't sound as good as they used to. I used to have the option of an 8MB waveset w/ something like G5 technology.

Can someone help me find somewhere I can get some better wavesets or something to make my midis sound better???

adaptec easy cd creater 4.02 windows me

does anyone out there no how to get the jewel case creater to print out the songs and the artists name on the paper insert i no it can be done because i have the same setup on my windows 98 se. computer and the jewel case fills out everything for me in the jewel case insert i dont have to type in anything or does windows me not let jewel case creater do this icannot get a straight answer out of adaptec for this question there has to be some way to do this without typeing in the name of each song and the artists name when you make the cd the information is already there to copy the song so why doesnt the jewel case creater copy that same information and fill it into your cover youre makeing i have not be able to find anyone who could answer this question so what does everone else ouy there do. do you type in all the cd information

no sound

Hi, I hope someone can give me some suggestions as to what to do for my poor silent computer. I was listening to sound clips on some website and I got the popups for newest versions of Real Audio and Media player (7) so I said ok and downloaded them. Then I tried to record something with the Sound Recorder in my computer and somewhere along the line I lost all sound including the sound in my games.(My cd music still plays in the dvd player though.) Also, and I don't know if the sound problem caused this to happen, but when I installed a new game (Extreme Rodeo) it always hangs after the first couple of seconds. I uninstalled Real audio, still no sound, I uninstalled Media player 7, still no sound, I uninstalled my sound card, (I think) and reinstalled it, still no sound. Sorry this is so long. Oh, can a music cd play in your dvd player with the sound card driver uninstalled? Thanks in advance for any help or ideas on this. Bonnie

I am running an SBlive card, and have 2 drum sounds to work with, can i download diff drum samples and use them with cakewalk instead off midi drum machines? If so how do I implement thes files to work under my existing midi drum patterns? Any info would be a great help.

at the moment I'm trying to work with cubase and giga sampler, wich is a virtual sampler. up to now this is the best way I found to get cool sounds on my PC.
My problem is : -giga sampler doesn't recognize my SB AWE32

just bought soundblaster live value (70$) max and it seems to be THE solution.
Once you got it you just have to download soundfons (sf2). you can find some on any cool website.
I'm sure that with gigasampler on one side and good drum soundfonts (controled by a good sequencer)on the other you'll be able to do any big fat sound you ever want !!!

Go to www.roxio.com and download update to version 4.05 free. There is a $99 alternative of Easy CD Creator 5.0.
I would thing that version 4.05 will solve your problem

hi, did you fix your crashing problem?? i actually have a question for you--i want to use audio effects on my tracks with easy cd creator 4(fades etc..), but cannot find the option under tracks (where it's supposed to be). the only option there is merge/split tracks but the options are always "grayed out" and cannot be used. help if you have any insight on this..

It is weird but I have the same problem only a while after installing Morpheus or the new versions of Napster.

Hi, maybe i don't have the solution but you can try this way... it's easy i solve the same kind of problem but whith another hardware so...
Go to the adaptec site and download the latest patch for easyCD creator and direct CD install it and...Try... as everything upon a computer it is under the plug and pray technology.... Good luck and nice burning BYE Keleanden

MP3 to text-Database

How in the world can a person orginize and print his MP3 collection the way he wants to.
I want to search by song or artist and print artist list and song list in alfa order.
I have spent 2 months on this.
One program will let me do some things and another will let me do something else.
I can create a data base in MS Works but if I copy and paste the list there -It is only one field.
It has been awhile since I used GW Basic but if I have to,I will try to us it to do what I want.
I guess I am Tee'd off because I know there is a program that will do what I want, but can't find it.
So I am asking does anyone know a simple way to do Organize MP3 files in windows ?
I have done some alpha sorts with GW Baasic.
But I would like a simple way to do it in windows.

And for DJ-ing with PC I recommend BPM-Studio
