I have been converting Real Audio to wav format using the Ra2Wav program, but once i convert the file to wav format, it adds a line throughout the whole track. It says "audio play demo" throughout the whole thing. Please help me, can't figure out what i'm doing wrong!!!

Hello,

You're not doing anything wrong - your simply using
the free demo version of the program. Unfortunately
there is no full version to buy.

How to record an 800MB CD

Hi, I need some help.
I have recorded 600MB CDs using an Adaptec Create CD.
Now I have a problem. I've bought cds of 800MB and my machine doens't recognize it.
My question is: how to record such kind of cds.
I wish to get your answer as soon as possible, because I have to record a lot of cds this month.

What you do is go to www.analogx.com, they have a load of good freeware there. Then check out www.sonicspot.com for some more freeware apps. But in the end, sorry but you will have to spend SOME money. Fruityloops is a great buy. (www.fruityloops.com)

Its takes a littel bit of work but you can use a program like Cool edit og somthing like that remember to make it into WAV

Extracting one channel of a stereo file in Batch

I have a number of .wav files where I have recorded a
mono signal on the left channel and another mono signal
on the right channel. Now I want to separate the mono
signal to separate mono .wav file.

I know I can do this manually by opening one file at a
time, select left channel, copy to a new mono file,
save that file, select right channel, copy to a new
file, save that file... That is tedious...
Is there a way where I can do this automatically?
(I use Sound Forge, but any ideas using any tool is
appreciated...)

Cakewalk session drummer

Blade. You have to create your drum sequences one measure at a time. Then, you name and save them as presets. Hope this helps. Write me anytime.

If you can be a little more specific then we can probably help you. What we need to know is what model of Roland keyboard or sound module you have and exactly what are you trying to do - do you want to mix audio sounds together - do you want to create songs. If the later is the case then the whole approach might be very different but I'll get to that once we know more about what you want.

Hi Alf, Would like to use a track from I believe a Roland TD10. The file extension is .VR8. I am trying to colaborate long distance with a freind who has the drum kit and we both have Zip drives. Trying to open these files in Cakewalk or Quartz audio Master but can't coonvert file type. Hope this gives a better idea of the issue. Thanks! Tim

I came to this site with the same problem hoping to get help and find a answer or solution to why my Adaptec CD-R Eraser will not erase my CD's. From what I can see of the results of this subject, there has been no answer for this problem or not even a suggestion on where to download a program that would erase CD-R's properly. Looks like this is a dead subject unless the operators of this site has enough knowledge to let us know what to do. corylong2002@aol.com

May be your CD-ROM (the disk media) is a CD-R (Recordable) and not a CD-RW (ReWritable)
A CD-R can be "burned" once. A CD-RW can be re-burne about one million times (if you are lucky).
CD-RW are more expensive than CD-R (by now until CD-R become a rare item);-)

Version 4.1 & onwards supports virtual instruments.Select virtual inst from panels drop menu. select VI then select midi track.In output of track. Instead of modem or whatever you play your midi, select the VI & play on midi keyboard.(make sure in midi set-up you have chosen outputs & VI is on)
