I do not know of a midi to wave converter. They are totally different formats. The only way is to record the midi file, via audio, to your hard-disk. Not ideal!

I assume you are using Cakewalk.
Cakewalk actually comes shipped with Roland INS files - and a JV1010 file is included. Alternativly, try www.lilchips.com

if you use vst instuments conversion is not needed
if you dont have, the way you would convert is record you midi into wave

If you are trying to finalize a CD-R disk using Just!Burn (or CD!Backup, Just!Data, Just!Audio) software and receive the error 75087203, this can be due to having previously formatted the disk with PacketCD. Other results can be that the Just!Burn software ejects the CD-R disk or an error message asking for a destination disk.

The information on the CD may not be lost. Right-click the CD icon with the CD in the CD-ROM drive and choose "Remount". This should allow the CD-ROM to read the information on the CD.

I often received the "Error 75087203 - Finalizing Disc" message. I solved this problem by turning off my screen saver and other energy monitor settings at the "display properties" icon . It worked for me. Good luck.

some cd players wont read re recordable cds try it on a different cd player or get a different type of cd.

I suppose you might not be doing absolutely everything your supposed to. Have you "Closed" the CD?? Or "Finalised" it?? You have to close the session so that the Audio CD can make sense of it. If you don't understand what I mean then it might be the problem. Read the manual you probably got with the Burner and look in the index under "close" "close session" etc...

A good Drum Sequencer....

I'm having trouble finding a good drum/sample sequencer... I don't want midi... Cuz with my current equipment... It just sounds too cheesy... So I need .wav... I've tried a few different ones... And they either don't have the rythmic diversity I need for my drum tracks... or they have some sort of limitation.... Loops, patterns.... etc... I write and record a progressive metal type of music... so maybe someone can relate to the overall complexity of it.... and the diversity of a program that I need... anyhow... does anyone know one... and where I can download it?? I'm about ready to die here...

it does loops, patterns and drums.
It's on this site. Also there's fruityloops,
but that one is madd expensive.

what!?.......this is not a cheap piece of software...and I am sorry I buy my software but have tried stuff out with a copied version many times.....we are not talking about dishing out $100-$200......not everyone is a $10,000 a record producer so things do get expensive.... I am sure you have never in your life used a cracked plug-in or burned a music cd...or grabbed a sample....maybe you've never even used a song with out the express written consent of the copywrite owners but not all of us can afford it....sorry to make it more expensive for real pro's like you.......boy I wish mother would have taught me better.....

Easy killer. I'll bet a lot of good music is getting made by people who aren't fortunate enough to be able to pay the $500 for a registered copy of the software like you and I are able to. Don't think that just because you've got means that you're entitled to take a position on moral high ground vis-a-vis others who can't afford these ridiculously priced programs. I'll bet you're the kind of person who thinks I should be paying $20 a month to file-share on Napster, too.

On the other hand (in reply to the original post), if you're resourceful enough to figure out where to obtain a pirated copy of the software, you should be resourceful enough to figure out how to use it on your own ...!

Remove the vocals cleanly

IF you don't know, vocal removers rely on the vocal being in the middle of the mix which they usually are. Stereo reverbs and doubling of the vocal in any way usually makes the software unreliable because they start to invade more of the stereo field. In a lot of ways, it's down to luck and the type of music your processing. There is no way at the moment to completely irradicate the vocal from a mix the overall bandwidth is toooo complex....
