CD - Wav without skips

Hey y'all Im using Audiograbber v1.40 to grab single tracks from my cd's to make compilations, but everyso often I get skips occuring. I've tried locking the values in the offset, but its still happening.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or even suggest an alternate program that might be better.
I'm using a p333 with 32x CD.

Don't listen to that gay bastard that says there is no way of removing vocals from WAV's, there is. Download this program called COOL EDIT PRO, or COOL EDIT 96 from http://www.syntrillium.com Then open your WAV file and select it all. Then click "Channel Mixer." If you do this, the vocals will be removed. If I were you, i'd download COOL EDIT 96, and get the patch for it, so it would become the Full Version (RETAIL).

Man, you really are a dumb-ass if you don't know that Cool Edit's voice removal follows exactly the same principle as I described.
Therefore vocals MUST be panned in the centre for elimination. This usually is not the case. So you end up with still audible remnants of the vocals. It doesn't matter much if want to Karaoke with the results, but if you really listen to it it sucks.
The other problem is that ALL sounds that are panned in the centre are taken out, even the ones you need, bass for instance.

There's no way to remove vocals from a wav file (read the old posts pleez).
There's one trick that may work in a couple of cases: you can invert ONE audio channel i.e. left OR right.
This will result in silence for the centre-panned sounds. If the vocals are panned right in the middle this should eliminate the lyrics.
(goldwave does the exact same thing)
Another way to do the same trick is the freeware DX-plugin Karakao.

I have logic audio 2.5.3 but not the a/v driver (didn't come with it) for internal mac so I CAN'T RECORD ANY AUDIO. Emagic doesn't produce the disk with the driver on it anymore. Does anyone have this disk? Any help is needed.

One of the most exciting elements of Cubase is the Rewire option. But I have opened Cubase first, engaged the Rewire channels, then opened Rebirth and before Rebirth opens it tells me "No Midi could be opened. Check Midi interface. Blah Blah Blah." It's probobly something very simple. Hopefully.

Just a thougt:
Did you change MIDI IN settings in Rebirth to ReWire?
Otherwise ReBirth will try to open your soundcard's MIDI IN which is already in use by Cubase...

I too had this problem, until I installed a piece of software (that came on my Souncard's CD) which enables the souncard to run 2 Application's at the same time, while usuing Midi!
Before that, I could only use midi from one at a time!
Though you can run ReBirth, if you change the Midi setting, to Virtual Piano.

There's this software, I think it's already there in your computer when you install Windows. It's in Accessories: Entertainment Folder. Its name is just plainly sound recorder. If you have a mic and have adjusted some things, you can put your mic on the speaker and it'll be a wave file. Or you can just connect your PC to the stereo. After being a wave or MP3, you can put it in a CD, with a CD writer, of course. NOT a CD Rom. I have already done it with my other songs

Use the program sound recorder on the windows cd
connect earphone out on stereo with mic input on the back of your sound card
right click on the speaker icon on the toolbar and select volume controlls and make sure nothing is muted
select options:properties on controls and click on recording
press ok
make sure nothing is muted
press record on sound recorder then play on radio
click file:save as
if song is longer than 1 min, press rec when sound recorder stops and when song ends record over on same file to remove jumps

May I suggest Cakewalk? It has everything imaginable an dis affordable. There are various programs for needs from individual to full orchestra. I enjoy mine as a classical guitar teacher.

is PTS AUDIO.
Sorry I dont have the link only the program,
try a search, you can download a demo verion.
If you want to extact mp3 to wave, try using winamp,
it also allows you to convert to wave, npt just a player.

Go to mp3towave.com and get a wave converter for free then after you used up all your free conveter you have to pay 14.95 for unlimated conveting

There's this software, I think it's already there in your computer when you install Windows. It's in Accessories: Entertainment Folder. Its name is just plainly sound recorder. If you have a mic and have adjusted some things, you can put your mic on the speaker and it'll be a wave file. Or you can just connect your PC to the stereo. After being a wave or MP3, you can put it in a CD, with a CD writer, of course. NOT a CD Rom. I have already done it with my other songs

Use the program sound recorder on the windows cd
connect earphone out on stereo with mic input on the back of your sound card
right click on the speaker icon on the toolbar and select volume controlls and make sure nothing is muted
select options:properties on controls and click on recording
press ok
make sure nothing is muted
press record on sound recorder then play on radio
click file:save as
if song is longer than 1 min, press rec when sound recorder stops and when song ends record over on same file to remove jumps

May I suggest Cakewalk? It has everything imaginable an dis affordable. There are various programs for needs from individual to full orchestra. I enjoy mine as a classical guitar teacher.

Yes they can. The burning software you require
(if you do not wish to extract to wave before burning)
is PTS AUDIO.
Sorry I dont have the link only the program,
try a search, you can download a demo verion.
If you want to extact mp3 to wave, try using winamp,
it also allows you to convert to wave, npt just a player.

dir what ever i have converted mp3 to wav burntet still my audio cd player wont play it.
i put audio cd in right click on it and it said audio track not WAVE so what the hell im doing wrong dont know??????

you can only put them on as wav files, so unless you can find a mp3 to wav convertor, you are out of luck. If you do manage to find one, email me.

You're wrong my friend, there "is" a way to convert MP3 files to CDA format. First make it a WAV file and then turn it into CDA format with a program from Adaptec. The address is at the bottom of this message.

Go to mp3towave.com and get a wave converter for free then after you used up all your free conveter you have to pay 14.95 for unlimated conveting
