To convert cdds to mp3 or wav i would recommend getting CDEx 1.30. It's Freeware so you can get a full version at download.com

P.S. I forgot to tell you instill of playing around with did, I'm looking for a good portable mp3 CD player to put in my car. On the blank cd-r it can hold up to 175 song in mp3 file. I found some of them but I'm still looking for a better one.....Hope that give you guy a though on it......

Burning CD questions-(new to this)

Any help would be appreciated. I've managed to:
-Create MP3s from audio CDs.
-Convert them to AIFF files.
-Burn them onto an audio CD so it plays on my stereo.
I did this on a Mac by the way, using Mpecker and Toast.
I'm very happy with the process so far, but I have some questions...
How much of a sound quality drop off is there between an MP3 converted to AIFF and an original CD track? I can tell a bit of a difference, but for my purposes it's negligible.
Would I get better sound quality converting to a WAV file rather than an AIFF? Will my stereo play a WAV on an audio CD?
Should I be using RW CDs rather than Rs? If I use RW can I really use them over again?
Can I mix songs clipped from other audio CDs and AIFFs on the same new CD? What about the file sizes? Won't the direct copies be MUCH larger?
So many questions.

I usually make a wav file then transfer it to CD.
Provided your CD Writer doesn't produce too many errors when writing (They all produce some) then wav files will be fine for listening on a standard CD player.

First of all, AIFFs drop in quality compared to WAV's. I reccomend converting to WAV. RW cd's arn't any different to CDR's, so theres no need to change. But do make sure your using GOOD CDR's (E.G. Sony) so that sound quality isn't lost.

You can capture live audio including .ra streams with a program called <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/TotalRecorder/">Total Recorder</a>.

I've used a programable midi keyboard from church that has a few songs that I recorded onto disk. Well I thought that I could record the songs bring the disk home change the midi's on the disk to wav's and burn the wavs onto a cd. Well as to find out the keyboard saves the files as .MDA's Does anyone know of a program that will convert these files to midi's or wav's? Any help would be appreciated. Is there a software that one can use to re-master recordings? Old cd'-s for instance?
MDA to WAV (Can someone Help!)
I've used a programable midi keyboard from church that has a few songs that I recorded onto disk. Well I thought that I could record the songs bring the disk home change the midi's on the disk to wav's and burn the wavs onto a cd. Well as to find out the keyboard saves the files as .MDA's Does anyone know of a program that will convert these files to midi's or wav's? Any help would be appreciated. Please e-mail me the answer too.

ReBirth rbs to midi
Does Anyone know how I can change a rebirth song (.rbs) into a midi file?
I can change it into various sound files, but would like to change it to a midi file!
