The group is called "The 4 Horsemen" and apparently they are a fake Metallica group, affectionately referred to as a "Tallica group". The name of the song is No Remorse.

Hey Johnny,

I also have this song, and I can safely tell from the verse singing and the rhythym and solo guitar at the REALLY heavy part at the end that it is definitely Metallica. The chorus sounds like it's being sung by Ozzy, but I can't really tell... it could be Jaymz singing like a bitch, Jason, Bob Rock, hell, it could be Lars for all we know. I'm just as confused as you on this on John, but I have the song on my Media Player as (unknown song) by Metallica.

Sorry I couldn't be more of assistance.

The name of the band is Manditory. The name of the song is "The wanderer."

EEeek! hundreds of freeware programs. How does a novice choose?
I'm looking initially for a prog that will allow me to
record from the mike input on my computer.
A little mixing wouldn't go amis but I'd rather have
quality of sound than too many bells and whistles
to start me off.

There is probably something there for you although you will have to give a little more information to what you are planning to do before anyone could give good 'mixing' application advice. What OS are you using also??

Until then, all I can say is go and check out the file area on this board as there is certainly a few things on different platforms that you can use to record from the soundcards microphone input.

pre-recorded cd to PC to play in car

I am trying to copy a pre-recorded music CD to my PC then want to play the recorded CD in my car. I have SonicStage installed on my PC but when copying a CD, it will play in my PC but not my car. What format do I need to make sure is on the recorded CD? What utilities are best for this task? Thanks much.

It may be that your car CD player can't read CD-R discs. Unless the laser is
designed to handle them, there's nothing you can do.

Hi I'm usin winoncd power edition 5.03.It's easy to make mp3 albums with this program. Good luck!
