need help

i have internet audio mix v1.3. i need to know if
there is any way of changing to files i make in this
program (they come up as .sgp.) to .wav or .mp3. this
way i can make a cd out of my mixes.

I would like to know of any FREE programs online I can use to create real audio, files with the ending of Ra. Something that will convert wave files over for me and do a nice job of it. Please email the info. (p.s. I know about Real Player Producer, Im looking for another free program or demo type that will work.)

MSN Homepages, Angelfire, Janus allow upload of .RA .RM and .PRN files.
The best converter to .RM I know is Real Producer available for free from http://www.realnetworks.com/products/producer/index.html

You can use <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Cool_Edit_Win32/">Cool Edit 96</a> but when I used it you could only encode audio - it didn't have Real Producer's facilities for adding copyright info or any other header data.

akai S2000 sampler - integrating for use on PC

I have had an S2000 for a while and wanted to get some tips from other users re-trouble shooting probs with ADISK, compatable software to use etc. I am just beginning the voyage with using the PC for making music and would really appreciate comments from someone who can save me a lot of time going bald with frustration.

yeah, I think it'll work. normally a guitar has
to pre-amplified but maybe your mixer has a
gain-poti?

I connected an e-guitar to my virus-synthesizer
and it worked.

you cannot change the size and if you were you would use the record line out from the mixer that is how dj do it else if you were electronic illiterate and just lookin to funk some beats up and hear them back did you know you can play two tracks using winamp and music match? that is like a total of how many tracks mixed down to what? just by this screen alone think of the possibilities good luck in making some music : : : : i downloaded the free bpm studio. MIDI notation player

I am looking for software to display music in standard notation with lyrics. It must "play" the music in time and highlight the note or word. This would be for people to sing along with the music in church. Does any body know if any of the notation software can do this? The demos I tried did not highlight what was being played.

Download <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Muse/">Muse for Windows 95, NT</a> - it will show the lyrics and highlight the notes at the same time.

Hello all

Okay, i know that you guys have said that it is impossible to remove background music, however, i was wondering if there is any software which can decrease the volume of the background music, and increase the volume of the vocals. The reason i am asking is that i need the vocals from a few songs, and i don't mind if there is a bit of music in the background.

if you were able to decrease the background-
volume you could also cut it down completely.

however, it depends on the type of signal that
you want to remove. if the background was a
bass or toms it shouldn't be a prob to cut the
volume but with hihats and strings you could get
problems.

you can use any software or plug-in that has an
equalizer-function. (e.g. soundforge)

you could also try the NoiseReduction plug-in for
soundforge. with this tool you can analyze a
signal and remove it from the complete sample
without affecting the other signals.

WAVs TO CDAs (again)

I know this is a common question but I have yet to see a satisfactory answer:

What is the process for converting a WAV file (sterio interleaved ?) on my hard drive (mac G3) to a CDA on my CD using Adeptec Toast or CDDirect. I've been through the manuals. TA.

right then!!
there is no such thing as wav to cda conversion.

your wav file has to be 16 bit stereo 44100mhz.
you drop these files into an "AUDIO" session in your recording sotware and burn the cd.
that's it. if you then check you cd in explorer,they will show up as cda.

WMA Files...

WMA files, how can i delete

Could you please tell me how to delete WMA files. I accidetely downloaded something with the WMA format, and I want to get rid of it. My computer won't allow me to delete it, move it to another folder, or rename it. Could someone please help?

***Rebirth 2.01*** Problem

My radium copy(full version) hangs if i dont make any
moves with the mouse after a few seconds/minutes...I read
in the nfo that one of the previous versions did this but it still does!! Can anyone
enlighten me on this one,or recommend an alternative(other than shelling)?

Cubase 3.0 VST Midi File Sound Problem

I can hear a metronome click, But I can not hear the midi file playing. I Can see the levels on the track are playing. But I still get no sound, just the sound of a metronome.

hit 'C' to turn the metronome off.

to hear something you must have at least one
synth connected because cubase doesn't use GM or
XM sounds internal.

uploading to web page

I have Winamp 2.50 and it works great on my pc and
when I upload it to my web page directory at Angelfire
it gets uploaded successfully, but then it will not
play. I get an error message. I switched from Real
Player because I like the Winamp better. Is there some
thing I am not doing? I have put the music in all
different formats, mid, wave etc. Put it on floppy's
in my Briefcase etc. but it just won't work at Angelfire.
I sure could use some advice....

What is the specific error message you get?

It sounds like you uploaded the file as an ASCII file instead of a BINARY file - make sure you upload it as a binary.

I don't know how to do this but thanks for the
