To create rhythms, check out the free <a href="http://www.threechords.com/hammerhead/">HammerHead Rhythm Station</a>. You'll also find plenty of other useful tools for creating music on this page.

Need Help. Mp3 vs Streeming MP3?

Hi,

Is streeming Mp3 the same quality as Mp3? Sounds like a stupid question, but as I understand this issue, there is no way to get around bandwidth limitations, if streeming Mp3 is playing Mp3's automatically (downloading as it plays, the downloading time will be significantly longer that the playback time.) Won't the playback catch up with the availiable downloaded material fairly soon?) Is this actually Mp3 quality or has quality been compromised in order to equalize download and playback time? Streeming Audio, may begin with an Aiff or Wav file, but the resulting quality is not anywhere near the quality of these formats. It is the same with streeming Mp3?

hi,
i think that streeming is maybe better than download. So i have adsl (250kb down and 24kb up) i download a mp3 in 15 sec, but on streem i can hear the file, without save on my disk. so the quality is sometimes better than the download.
but for people, who have a modem or isdn i think a download is better....
p.s. my english is not very good, because iam a german people.

ok, this may be a stupid message to post on here, but i have about 257 mp3's, and i need to take some parts out of them. ie: when i recorded them from my cd, the first 20 secs of the song is silence, and i'm just looking for a way to remove that. i'm not looking to spend any money here, freeware would be damn near orgasmic. if you have an answer, please email me or something. thanks, later.
