DBX Noise Reduction Software

I have a boat load of DBX encoded tapes. My DBX NR unit is dead. Does anyone know if there is a DirectX Plugin that can decode the DBX encoded music?

Hello

Have you found the solution? I have same problem, and would very much appreciate any info you might have about this. Thanks

Jim,
I've just been looking into the same problem, But I went to the net to search "dbx". I found- dbx under the Harman name. They have the solution- dbx 150X- I know it's not as "fun" an answer as a swell new software package, but ask yourself, what's more important your classic old tapes right from the old vinyl or a new piece of software?

I also have hundreds of DBX tapes and my player
is dead, so, can anyone help me too?

Re: DBX Noise Reduction Software

Why not get unit fixed. DirectX Plugin should not be hard to assemble but there is little market for it. If you hear of anything or perhaps stumble on a hidden source of material, prferably vinyl drop me a line

I went on eBay and got a new unit for under $100. It did the trick.
