mp3 is the absolute smallest possible format for quality audio. 3 megs you should easily be able to e mail, it may take a few minutes though. If your not happy with it you need to snail mail it to your friend.

You can use the midi-plugin that follows Winamp 2.78 to do the job.

Just did that very thing. Used Sound OLE off my AWE^$ Card to copy MIDI to wav...had to go to a 22MH 16 bit MONO, tho. Used and ACER CDR to write to CD...works fine. However, I'm told that there are better programs out there...haven't found 'em yet.

I'm using cool edit pro and trying to burn a single wav file to CD, I'm using Ce-Quadrant ToGo software but it will not recognise any wav formats that cool edit saves, is there an easy way to do this ?

Hey!

I'm looking for encore 4.xx. I thought I was lucky when I found a 4.04 demo version somewhere on the net, but then I discovered that it won't save or print (what unnecessary features, eh?)

Well, if anybody got any ideas, post it here...

By the way, why does encore look & behave so awfully in Win9x? OK, it was first designed for 3.1x, but couldn't the Passport company give it a new look? As for now, it looks pretty ANTIQUE...

I heard they went out of business. My encore 4.0 was working great, then I downloaded explorer 5 browser and all of a sudden..no sound! Does anybody know what happened?

Buy a SCSI CDR. Believe me i've tried many and you know what they all burn. Just buy a fast one it saves lots of time

Peak 2.03 from BIAS is the best I've found for your application, although there are some shareware apps that work well. Are you on a Mac or PC?

Logic Plat3.5 and Wavelab

How do I take a file recorded in Logic and tweak it in wavelab then bring it back to Logic with out losing the anchor point. When I try to take a file recorded in Logic to an external wave editor and then bring it back to logic it is a pain to try to get it to sync again. Is there an easy way to use an external editor with logic with out having to fight with the anchor point. I am used to Cubase and was hoping there is a way to do this in Logic as easily as it is in Cubase.

What can I do to the wav files before I burn them so there all even.
I need some good tips,I've burned a few with all the top software and they all pretty much sound like shit.

mp3 is an inferior sound quality. It is highly compressed therefore: Sounds like shit compared to CDA. When you use winamp to convert it back to .wav it will still sound like an mp3, because when it got converted to mp3 originally a lot of data is lost that cant be restored. People rave on about mp3 quality, but i can hear a distinct difference between high fidelity and mp3. The loudness difference you can probably fix using a wave editor such as soundforge or wavelab and chose "normalize" function.

Groove Templates

I am getting a brain cramp trying to find groove templates for Cubase VST. DNA is apparently out of business. Can you direct me to a resource for .grv templates for Cubase. I am willing to pay.

PS, I have also emailed this query to Steinberg tonight and talked directly to their rep Greg Ondo, (greg@steinberg.net) today, and while Greg said he knows of some resources and will email them to me ASAP, I have been disappointed by support at Steinberg before, so I'm hedging my bets by contacting you as well. Four nights I have spent trying to find someone to sell me groove templates for Cubase. Ridiculous.

All you have two do is save the files in you keyboard format gat a hammer hit the disk abouts ten times and the it sould work in you comepuuter
