removing lyrics from cd's

I guess you could do it, but it'd be a lot of work. The only thing I've seen is a <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/YoGenVocalRemover/">vocal remover</a> which would remove vocals from the whole song, not just a bit of it.

to get lps to mp3 fomat use adaptec cd creator dlx then to make it to a cappella use nero

JV1010 Master Clock

Hi!

I just bought a JV1010 and I have been trying to synchronise the pulse pads tempos with the sequencer(Cubase) without success! I can't get to the master clock setup and when I edit the patch and save it as User with the tempo modified it doesn't work the same!Can you help?

Isis studio recording problem - novice

I'm trying to record guitar thru amp to line in as suggested. The problem is, i just can't seem to get a signal when recording. Any suggestions?

You might need to See your software to recording for the sound drive to active and show levels on your 8/4 consule. And the line out of the amp in to mono set monitor 1 should get a singal, but remember that guitars always sound better when there mic'ed.

DJX sampledump

I tried to save the DJX sample and bulkDATA
via the sequencer.
The saving works,but back loading into the DJX
the DJX requester say ERROR.
Even when I pull out the midi outcable from
the DJX.

I Have a Amiga 1200 and Music-x and will try to
make a program myself.

How does the DJX save the sample and bulkDATA to
my sequencer.
I mean with the clocksignals (50ms ?????)
And is there a difference with the sampleDATA.

Sony Spressa USB problem

Hey, all. I have a Spressa USB, and I'm having a problem...whenever I try to burn an MP3 onto a CD, the MP3 plays full of distortion. I downloaded drivers, I upgraded to HotBurn 1.3...no good. ANy idea what the problem is?

Do you have Sony Proprietary CD/RM contoller installed? My PC froze when with the Sony plugged in. Sony was no help.
Go to Start/settings/control panel/ new hardware/ search play and plug/ search non-play and plug/ Just keep going until Sony shows up as a manufacturer, you may have to scroll down a list/ hilite 'sony' and 'Sony proprietary CD/ROM controller' will appear. Install it.

You can either use a commercial product, e.g. Adobe Acrobat (~$300) or a free product, e.g. Ghostscript which you can find at http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/index.htm.

Yes you can but you will need another program to
make it work called Virtual Audio Cable which will
send the output of your synth into Cool Edit.

You can download Virtual Audio Cable at

Then all you need to do is hit Record on Cool Edit
and then play the sounds from your synth software.

Voiceovers with music background

I'm currently using Swish 1.51 to create a program and would like to know how I would be able to add a voiceover to the program that is currently running a music loop. I was told by the Swish people that I'd need a multi track program and I downloaded Anvil Studio to accomplish this. Can someone tell me how to add the voiceovers to a program using this multi track program.

What you do is record your music loop onto two mono
tracks so that you have stereo - once you've done
that you can play back the recorded sound while
recording your voice over on a separate track.

Then you can listen to all the tracks played back
and set the correct relative volumes for each track
and even add audio effects to individual tracks if
you want to.

Once you have the final result you want then simply
save the mix as a .WAV file.

AKAI MESA for Older MACS

i would like to know if anyone is using the AKAI MESA software to control your samplers
conected to an older MAC.
I'd like to hook it up with a Mac Classic or a MAC SE/30, wiil it work?

djs files are used by the "Next! DJS-24" digital sampler to store samples at the PC.

Protools Software

I just basically setup a whole studio in my house and I'm trying to get as much information on using protools as possible. If any one has any links or anything that would help, it would be greatly appreciated.
