Under preferences click on buffer, click on manual configuration put in at leasst 40%of available ram, more is better

Whenever i burn a data Cd with Nero 4 or WinOnCd the PC thinks its an Audio CD and only has Track1.cda listed in explorer. Whats going on, is there a problem with my Traxdata 8x4x32 writer??

I dont need to download the program.
I couldnt find newhere else to go so i came here. I have the program and when i try to burn a cd the song doesnt come out right. I think when i deleted some stuff so i can have some more memory space i accidently deleted a certain requirement. So i wanna know if i am able to reprogram or sumthing.

I'm running into the same problem! Any help out there? I checked the files with an mp3 checking program, and it's just fine, plus Winamp & Media Player 7 have no problem with it.

Are you sure the mp3 is stereo and the right frequency? That's always the problem I run into when I get that message.

get adaptec 4.02 deluxe. You can drag/drop mp3's and program will automatically convert to .wav files.

Nero does it automatically. Just drag and drop an mp3 file and it's all done for you. Of course this may only work in the reqistered version, but you can try at least in the shareware version.

You have two choices: You can download a program called mp32wav(free) and turn your mp3's into wav files and then use a program like ez cd creator to burn the wav files to cd, musicmatch jukebox5 is also easy because it converts and burns in one step,or you can download one of the new shareware programs like audiocd mp3 studio at Ashampoo.com that will burn mp3's without converting them first. hope this helps

nero can burn mp3's straight to the cd, you don't need to convert, you just click and drag and make your list, then burn the cd, no conversions needed.

get musicmatch jukebbox in the mp3 section. which you can convert mp3 to wave file them burn it.

Problems extracting from tw0 CD's

I moved my CREATIVE CD-RW and software to a newer faster computer. Now the program will not read from a second audio CD when I try to record a Mixed Mode CD. Worked fine before. Now it asks for the second CD looks at it then ejects it and asks again.

I've just come across the site for the first time and am considering getting a burner and Nero. Question: What cheap software can I get that will compress audio files to MP2 standard at 6:1 compression. I require this for broadcast quality without too much loss. I feel MP3 loses too much for my application. And I want to cram as much into a hard drive as possible.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

But my disk is partitioned into 4 drives. Seems impossible to restore into any other partition except 1 (C:).

D:, E: & F: are recognised by the nrestore program, but are unaccessible.
any help is appreciated.

There is no bug. On further investigation I found I could indeed back up to any partition & any drive.
Would have certainly appreciated a help screen though.
