Ok, so one message would have been enough.
Still, does this happen every time you try to copy a CD ?
Only it sounds like you have a problem with your burner (what is it by the way ?).
I've been happily creating and burning CD's for the last 18mths and suddenly my burner wont copy a thing.
I got a new burner and everything is ok.
I suggest you take yours in to your local computer shop for testing.
It sounds like one of the 'buffer' chips have shook a seven.

I can't get Nero 5.0.3.8. to work correctly. I'm running Windows 2000 Server...is there another driver that I need? If so, where can I find it? HELP!!!!

Even I have the same problem, but it is with Windows 2000 Professional Edition. The NERO program hangs as soon as I start it. And after that everything hangs. My version is 5.0+ which is supported by Windows 2000.

new to all this BURN RIP COASTERS!!!
Been trying to record MPEGs but keep
getting error messages that the format
is wrong. They are MPEGs I,ve downloaded
from the net. How can they be wrong?
Can anyone explain in idiot proof
terms how to do it?
(I have an AOPEN CD-RW)

Not quite sure what you're trying to do.
To copy any file, be it mpeg,wav,jpg,bmp or mp3 etc.. Simply open Nero's wizard and click 'new compilation' then at the next window click 'data CD'.
Drag and drop the files you need into the empty pane on the left.
I can only assume that you're trying to create a VIDEO CD. Don't.

I have this trouble too. You may want to check the features of the mp3. If it's mono or not the right frequency it won't burn on nero.

Not quite sure what you mean. Do you want a software program which you can use to print CD-covers with ??
You can use any photo-editing suite as long as you have a scanner. Just remember that the final 'print size' for your CD-cover is "12.1cms x 12.1cms" or if you're doing a gatefold cover, it's "24.2cms x 12.1cms"

Don't be s hard on yourself. This software may be great but it needs better documentation and help. What ever I do with the software is a guessing game. Fortunatley some of the guesses are good in other cases I'm not so lucky. I'd love to see something like Nero for Dummies. I'd buy it in a minute.

Hello and thank you for your help. I am a DJ and use a Philips Magnavox CD burner to record my music. The problem that i have been having has gotten to be very frustrating. Everything looks as though it is recording properly but then it just stops recording. Sometimes within 2 minutes of recording times and other times as long as 45 min into recording. If you have any suggestions or know anything particular about this brand of burner i would really appreciate hearing from you. Thank you so much for your time.

DUH !!

Of course it has. Just cancel the wizard (if it starts) click 'file' then 'preferences' and change the YELLOW marker to 79 59 0 and the RED marker to 80 0 0 and click APPLY.

Nero Freezes When Copying Data CD

Each time I use Nero 5.0.3.5 to copy data CD, it freezes after copying about 50% of CD. However, I don't have any problem copying music CD. I am not sure why this is happing. I have checked all the setting. I have Plextor 12/10/32 CD Writer and my computer is Pentium 2 with 128MG memory. Please help.

Yeah ok, and once the image has finished copying, then you write it to CD !!!!

Hi, I had the same problem and the WRITE CD option was not activated in the FILE Menu. Then I started the WIZARD for new compliation and one more browser window opened. After I CLOSED the new compliation window, the WRITE CD option was activated for the previous data (browser window). Strange .... but worked for me .......

Program Freezing

Program freezes when measurments have been completed or when burning has just begun also freezes when program has finished burning andwhen I close the program, this is an intermittent fault I have a Advent PC From PC World with 192 MB with p 2 processor 350. The CD RW I have is Blaster 8x4x32. No 5

Maybe you're doing something wrong.
You can also check your CD-Writer's compatibility with NERO there too.
