My CDRW doesn't work since I installed Win XP...

i had a copy of Nero 5.0 and my acer 8x4x32x worked ok, but then i upgraded to 5.5 and i lost it and now it doesnt work...i cant get any drivers that work anywhere!!!

I use Nero 5.5.5.4 and it works perfect. I do not have to install any driver. So I guess you need update your Nero.

NR 7700a works fine with directCD from Roxio. But I can not use Roxio EZCDcreator 5.02 to make a CD from data project. It seems that EZCDcreator use a special command that the CD burner does not support. Could someone tell me how to solve it?

Some dvd players won't play CDR or CD/RW discs. I have a Sony and it wont play them either. I also have an APEX 1500 that will play them.

thats correct nero,and nti pro does not burns the vcd format which my dvd player recognizes. the task completes fine without any errors but when i stick it in my dvd player the the supposed vcd is not recognized. iv spent agonizing hours trying to figure it out and came to a conclusion those programs are bull shit i can play the cd on my computer but my sony dvd player which plays all the other professionally made vcd but not the ones i burnt using those softwares i need to figure out what prog the professionals are using! why do they make programs that dont freakin work. the soul purpose to a vcd is to watch it on tv instead of your computer screen right? if that wasent the case i would have just left the avi files alone and watched it on the comp. instead of wasting hours turning that shi... into mpeg1.

the problem is not with the program.. it's with the dvd/vcd player.. a lot of the higher end players tend to not play them.
