Check your player and check to see if there's
anything in the pref. that would change the output
into sound files that you use to put on a CD like
anyother audio file you would put on a CD

Time-stretchin stretches a sample (or song)
without changing the pitch !!

I'm starting to get interested in composing on my computer. I'm looking for a program that can print sheet music, transpose between instruments, and play midi tracks. Most important, I can't play a midi keyboard so I want to either use my computer keyboard/mouse or my trombone to edit. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I use <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/n-Track_studio/">n-Track Studio</a>. The audio quality of the program is excellent - the quality of your soundcard is the biggest factor for audio recording.

I just bought a Cd-REWRITABLE drive for my cpu and all I HAVE TO RECORD is mp3s.....

I need a way to convert these mp3s to a format that i can copy and allow me to listen to them on a regular CD player!!!!

Hello! I've heard the MpegDj GoWave can reconvert the mp3 to cda..

ok, how about this, guy's,(or girls)
it's easy to burn from mp3 to
cd-da format and play the discs in a cdplayer
but, you end up with max. 15 songs/disc.
now heres what im thinking, if someone were to
figure out how to make the cd player play mp3's,
then you could fit 600+ minutes of music on one cd
,what i believe is nessesary is an adapter program.
that will tell the cdplayer how to decode mp3's
real time.
tell me what you think of this idea.
~~~also, i do not believe in ripping off musicians
in general, but believe in the freedom of music..

~~~Music Match's Jukebox, and easy cd creator,
are two nessesary programs
for burning mp3 to cdda

64 mb only holds 12-15 songs :(
a cd would hold around 100-150 :)
could someone who has some info about
a realtime decoder, email me.
(note. this doesn't include the "rio" mp3 player)

Macintosh Midi Editors Question

I'm on a Macintosh and am looking for a MIDI editor.
The best one I've found so far is MIDIGraphy. However,
I find it unattractive because it doesn't show
real music-style notes on a staff. Is there any
free/share ware software that will me see actual notes?

MIDIGraphy is good but you are right it don't go far enough.
Cubasis and MusicShop (Opcode)were free on Computer Music magazine cover disk.
But you may find back copy hard to get.
For what it is worth I think MicroLogic AV at £99 is probably worth shelling out for.

If your still interested-I have an editor librian that works on Dos
It was done by Big Noise Software in 1989 and works great, included are
approx. 2000 patches. Many are poor but has some great sounds for
piano, bass, guitar and vibes. Also have another 2000 done by Many Midi in the Big Noise format.
Big Noise has been out of buiness for 4 or 5 years.
My problem is I can't use big Noise on Windows 95 dos.

Becuase you my friend are a moron, why pay for something you can get for free, most people dont have that amount of money to buy such expensive audio programs, and maybe they will like it, maybe they wont, but unless its really for buisness uses buying would be a waste. If i were a serious producer i probably wouldn't even consider this software, and if i were to consider it i would surely buy it, but for the majority it would most likly be a waste to buy audio software.

Help with sound quality for CD

Help I converted MP3's, to wav, then burned onto CD , creating a cda so I can play them on my stereo. the problem is the sound . All the songs are there , but the vocals sound has an echo to it. it seems like I lost some of the instruments.
Is there a program that will help me? I used Adaptec CD creator.
