Software Description
CloneCD is the perfect tool to make backup copies of your music and data CDs, regardless of copy protection. CloneCD's award-winning user interface allows you to copy almost any CD in just a few mouse clicks.
Since the release of 5.0, CloneCD is not only able to copy CDs but also most DVD formats, such as DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R Dual Layer and DVD-RAM. The movies are copied 1:1 and therefore not modified (compressed). Note that to copy movie DVDs you also require AnyDVD.
CloneCD also works with other formats such as ISO and UDF files and copies CDs/DVDs with the new SafeDisc 3 Copy Protection System. CloneCD allows you to create perfect 1:1 copies of your valuable original compact discs. Should your copy-protected music CD not play in your car audio, the backup created by CloneCD will.

I am having troubles only when i try to record music cd´s with more than 63 min. When i make an image of a 70 min music cd, it turns to be of more than 700 Mb!!! I´have tried to use other programs like prassis, and easy cd creator, but they dont recognize my cd rw. Now i´m trying to get another driver, but it appears that only cequadrat is doing drivers for a sony apparatus??!!! Now that i have downloaded the drivers (http://www.cequadrat.com/english/support/drv_user.php3?f=1) independentely from the winoncd, i´m hoping that this problem can be solved. but i have no idea. anyone has a better idea?

Yeah, i also use Verbatim cds cuz there realy nice deep blue. Very good in PSX and all cd_roms can read them. And i use TDK CDS! :)

: I can't get clonecd (or nero) to read a cd I am trying to copy. My cd rw is an LG CED-8080B which is not listed as a tested device on the clone cd hardware compatibility page (the LG CED 8120 is). The cd I am trying to copy is protected with safedisc r5 (per perfect copy). I can copy other CD's with no problem. My CD RW is listed as compatible with Nero, but it will not read the protected cd either. The clonecd log says "failed to read track X" for all tracks.

I cannot burn a music cd on this rewritable it does fine on data but will not burn music for me. And yes I do use the right discs. Any suggestions would be nice. Memorex is of no help and hard to get a hold of. THANKS, DEBBIE

im burnning a few games and when i load them in to p/s console some of them frezzy up, im reading&writeing them at 1-2x speed ive got clone2.8.4.2 and its a LG burnner can any help me please????

YOU ALSO NEED TO READ THE FILES AT A SLOW SPEED AS WELL..I FOUND IT WORKS MUCH BETTER ALSO UPDATE YOUR PROGRAM.THERE IS AN UPDATE..

hi its brent ive got a CED-8080 LG burner if thats any help
on the fly
1= hi hows things..question ive got clone2.8.4.2 and i carnt work out how to work on the fly from 1 cd-rom to the other can you please HELP...
2= im doing a couple of games and thay are frezzing up when i load them on to the playstation im reading at 2x to the hard drive then 2x writeing why are thay frezzing????

Firstly, don't bother using 'on-the-fly' unless your CD-Rom is capable of reading 'subchannel data'.

CloneCD on Windows ME
I just recently upgraded to Windows ME and I installed CloneCD. I can read in the image files, however, I cannot use any of the other options. They are grayed out.

I can make an image,but when I go to copy the computer freezes up.I am using windows ME and creative blaster cdrw 6.4.24x.I have a AMD Duron 700,128megs of ram.Is there anything I can do to makes this work?

It dosen't work
I just upgraded to Windows ME and have CloneCD installed and all the options except for the "read CD image" are grayed out.

: when i Clone Cd's they work fine in all 8 of my computers at my house some drives are old some are brand new but when i lend them out to friends there drives want read them one friend bought a new drive now all my cd work in his is there a standard for which cd drives will read burnt CD's

: hey pendragon will you try and do me a favor if you get a chance try to burn a 2001 ea sports(PC) title with your new burner using nero burn and tell me if you can get it to work because im having problems trying to get tiger woods 2001 and madden 2001 to burn after the reading process it will start the burn process after 1hour and 30 mins it will say 1% complete but thats as far as it will go. thx

I'm having the same problem for non-dvd ps2 titles. I'll post any info. I get to this area ... but in the meantime if anyone else out there finds out please help. ashshlay@bellsouth.net
