sassy,

you need to get the program that comes with most mp3 players. i.e. the Nomad MP3 player brings a program that is called the digital audio station. this program allows you to convert mp3 to wav, wav to mp3 and even ID3 tags. this is the only way i have seen possible to convert mp3 files. hope this info has been helpful.

This shareware package will convert Real Audio/Real Media into WAV files. Make sure to choose CD Stereo when converting to burn to CD.

Winamp:
* Freeware goto: www.tucows.com//www.winamp.com, etc.....
* no difference registering, simply a plugin is required to download available probably at www.winamp.com
* Sonique and other programs are better for mp3s ie. Media Wizard!!!!!!!!!

* This webpage is much more confusing and less straightforward than these programs are and the questions seem trivial...

CDmaster32 by Zittware - does even the most highest bitrate MP3s to WAV. good shit (But you have to have your CD drawer open whilst using it - or else it goes slow - it did it for me)

Mediabox - does WAV to MP3 good

Cooldecode - does superb quality WMA to WAV

Ra2Wav v 2.0003 (realaudio G2 edition) - if you can get your hands on this, you are a genius. they put it offline because it was ruled against 'copyright' for Real Audio. Which is the problem.

I have the program streambox ripper and ra2wav but I was only aloud to use streambox ripper 10 times and ra2wav puts in a little audio clip every 15 seconds when converted which is very annoying. If there is anyone who can tell me how to convert real audio to mp3, wavs, or almost any other audio format, please e-mail me at cloud849@hotmail.com

Music match will do the best i have seen or Acid Pro but Acid Pro cost 399.99$ but you can Get MMJB fir free both are good

After decoding the mp3 file to wav, do I then record on cd-r or cd-rw? or is there another step im missing?
