Mixman crashes with awe64

How much memory you have?

At first guess it sounds like you need a larger swap file, and more memory under Windows9x.

Could be that the hard drive has crashed or the cmos
battery is dead. First try replacing the battery, then
if that don't work, take it in for repairs! :>(

Hello: I have a client who is getting the same message on his laptop. It's my understanding that there is nothing you can do. When I check his file system structure, it comes up with "unknown". Did you ever get a resolution for this problem besides rebuilding your computer? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

My Mixman studio pro ALSO crashes when I load a big wav. file.I too have Creative awe64. I am running win98,have 128 megs of ram, and 3 gigs unused on a 6 gig hard drive. I am also looking for d-plates....any sites out there that I can download from for free???

I tink yoor problem lies in not hevin Dirrect X for music. Check yoor local Microsoft Store.

I'm having the same problem and if you get it fixed can you please e-mail me and tell me how you fixed it. I also only get a little over half in focous ther other part is all blury like by the two record where the needles are is all blury

go to a search engine look up dssound.dll and find a place to dow
load it and stick in the same main directory as mixman studio's at

I think dsound.dll is part of Microsofts DirectX components.
Try downloading the latest version of DirectX and see if this helps.
