Software Description

Features of CDRWIN:

I have a Yamaha 16/10/40 burner. It's a firewire hook up. Is there anything in the future about support for this type of burner?

Sorry to bother you, but i have a problem with a Matshita CW 7586 CD rewriter drive which doesn't seem to want to copy CD's - and it seems you have the same drive - i have tried Nero CD Burner (which came with my computer i have to add! From TINY!!) and EasyCD - the former didn't work at all and the latter copies CD's but they have loads of static on them too! I am copletely out of ideas as to what will work for it and no one seems to be able to help - can you.

Since having xp pro installed i have been unable to get my burner going..... My old software was for 98. Tried installing that but no go...

Can anyone helf?

I have the some problem with this burner and XP. The cd burns, but then frezes on completion and the system get all messed up and i have to roll back the drivers. I'm also using a promise ata card.

I'm working on this problem..

I'm having EXACTLY the same problem! it's recognizing the CD-R as a normal CD-ROM!
ive got no idea apart from finding the right drivers, but its really hard coz there are heardly any drivers available for outdated hardware??

I downloaded Blaze Audio Rip/Edit/Burn, and it seems to be working fine. I have not bought the full copy yet, but I am not having any trouble with the trial.

Use Nero v.5 of CDRwin 3.8f both work fine, but you need to copy the ASPI drivers from Nero to the windows\system to use CDRwin 3.8f or else you'll get an error.

Have you looked at Easy CD Creator 5 yet? I just downloaded the demo and it does indeed work in XP. Not crazy about the idea of having to upgrade, though! They could have and should have made XP more backward compatible. Guess those are the prices we pay for wanting to be at the head of the pack! :-(

Hafve you looked at Easy CD Creator 5 yet? I just downloaded the demo and it does indeed work in XP. Not crazy about the idea of having to upgrade, though! They could have and should have made XP more backward compatible. Guess those are the prices we pay for wanting to be at the head of the pack! :-(

I use EZCD Creator 5, just DONT install Direct CD or Take Two. Works fine for me also.

cdrwin burning dummy cds

when i unlocked my cdrwin, it let me burn at max speed but it burned a dummy cd. theres nothing on the cd when i open up the explorer but it's been burned on, can anybody help with this problem i'm having?

I have the same problem with burning ISO's with CDRwin 4.0a. I heard that the ASPI error you get with version 3.8a-f under XP can be resolved by copying the ASPI drivers from NERO to the windows\system. Maybe this will help with your problem?

cue/bin burning a vcd 2.1 compliant cd...

my player will reconize it as a 2.1 but wont play...??

Yeah Im having the same problem as you. I was pretty sure CDRwin change mp3s to wavs automaticaly, because I was having zero problems with this before. I burn the cd, and the program says it was succesful. Still when I play the cds in my cd player I get nothing but satic. Man its frustrating loosing cd after cd.

I hope someone can help us with this major problem.
