I Need Sony Spressa CRX100E/X2 Drivers!!!!

I have the model listed above, but the drivers that came with it are for the 120, not the 100....so I get system hangups and whatnot....Sony's online support is pathetic, can anyone help me out with some drivers?

I am having the exact some problem with my spressa
, same model, same driver prob, same pathetic sony supoort.
I will keep looking, if you have any luck please help, I will return the gesture as well.

I have the crx100 which I used on my desktop(WinME) but I want to transfer usage over to my laptop(WinNT) and cannot find the drivers for it, can anyone lend some advice?

I have successfully upgraded to Win2K with the drive in question. It was a bitch and took persistence. First you have to do a drive bios upgrade (provided by Sony.com) FROM WITHIN WINDOWS 98!!!. After making that happen the rest was downhill and Win2k picked it right up. Have fun.

I have a crx100e/x2, and the original driver disc, which is the correct disc because mine works great. I'm looking for an xp upgrade, but if you need a copy of my disc, email me at greg@vallnet.com, and be sure to put sony crx in the subject, and I will get a copy to you. :) greg

I don't have the CD extreme Software because I can't find my driver disk. My HD crashed and I have not been able to use the drive ever since. Can someone e-mail me a CD ISO of the "Sony Extreme"????????????

Hey.. here is another site which this guy blows found the problem by himself. I have not tested it out yet because i am still waiting for my Sony to come. Should arrived like next week or so. Well, I did some research and this is what I found.

I AM DISSAPOINTED with Sony. There customer serive is lacking greatly. I simply need the Win98/me driver for this cd burner,and I and good. That is the problem with sony? I have been on the phone 3 times and I have waited at least 1 hour each time? One time a sony rep hung up on me. Where can I get this driver? HELP!!!!

I got the same problem, i bought a cheap CRX100 which served for an exposition. The CD was missing, so I called Sony Hotline today. Drivers for Mac USB are not availible on Internet, they promised to send them to me via EMail. If I receive them, I'll inform you. Remember to also have a look on this interesting page:

I have the same burner. The drivers suck (they conflict with every Mac extention) so just get a copy of Toast 4.0 and everything works like a dream
