omgjbox.exe error

Estamos apesadumbrados para la inconveniencia. La lata alguien satisface me ayuda y me dice que cómo fijarla, Sony no dé ningún wat de la ayuda tan siempre.

Hé, j'obtiens cette erreur quand j'essaye d'importer la forme de musique mon ordinateur vers mon md net: omgjbox.exe a rencontré un problème et doit se fermer. Nous sommes désolés pour le dérangement. Le bidon quelqu'un satisfont m'aident et m'indiquent que comment le fixer, Sony ne donnent aucun wat d'aide tellement jamais.

I have just received my new Sony NW-HD1 Network Walkman and eagerly downloaded the Sonic Stage software. However when I tried to record my first CD I got an error message that omgjbox.exe had encountered a problem & would shut down; this effectively shut down SonicStage as well. After hours of uploading patches from the Sony site with no success, I found what looked like a drastic solution, namely deleting part of the Windows XP system (Windows XP Hotfix KB840987) via Control Panel & add/Remove Programs. Miracle of miracles, it worked! I hope this helps others out there.

this is the answer I found:
go to control panel to remove a file called: KB840987. It exists in Windows XP. My system is Windows 2000, this file was downloaded when I update Windows online.

Hey SUPER !! I couldn't play any music at all from my SonicStage after WinXP new Hot Fixes a few days ago. I updated Sonic Stage to Version 2.0 but that didn't help either. It only made things worse ! I couldn't even start SonicStage after that, it just crashed each time. Even_id=1000 bla bla. But un-install Hot-Fix 840987 and everything works again !! Super, Thanks !

SonicStage uses Macromedia Flash to drive their 'jukebox' for Net MD devices. I had the same problem with version 1.5 as I can basically only do one or two imports of CDs before you get that error.
So If you are thinking of putting a large collection of CDs onto a LP4 MD its gonna take a while.

I reported this problem to SONY which was had because you will fine NO emal addresses of any kind on their websites, let alone 'support@sony.com'.
(I spent a day at work searching all the sony sites I could find).

SonicStage Version2 will convert all your music files into the new format, it uses more standard Microsoft technology (MDB access databases and msXML support). The feature with SonicStage V2 (omgjbox.exe) is that you can load it up from the net, once it has installed and upgraded all your music files it will then crash making all your previous/converted music assets unreachable.

You can go to the Sony feedback web site and submit the problem, but then you will notice that they dont maintain their web pages as those to crash.
The conclusion to come to is that SONY is all show and no substance. It tries to be as cool as MAC, but at least what a mac iPod offers it delivers on.
SONY only as content for its customers - this is proven by their total indeffernce and lack of support for their customer base. It seems weirdly logical that they use macromedia FLASH for their image presentation, like they are all Flash and no substance, flash by nature and so on.
I went out and bought an extra 1GB of RAM just to see it that would help sonice stage work. I reinstalled a fresh image of Windows 2000 to see if that would make a differnce.
However its not all bad news.
There is another company that has made a version of 'sonic stage' for journalist that moves data between the MD and PC, does all that sonic stage should do, it is rock solid, bug free - the snag is it costs £2000!
So you have to look at the total cost of ownership.
Is any SONY device (eg net MD) device worth it - versa the equivilant mac iPOD ?
Its not look looking at getting an AIWA net md cos it is just a relabled sony.
What I was looking for when I bought the most expensive NET MD I could find was something that would be a 'recording deck' (like any FireWire DV cam) since USB2 is faster than FireWire you would have though this would be obvious. SONY are not in the market of you doing 'Go Create' only 'Go Buy'

Hola, es un gusto saber que no soy el único en tener este problema, he tratado de instalar desde Sony la versión mas reciente de este programa, el resultado...el mismo, sin embargo probé en otra computadoray no hubo problema, todo resultó de maravilla, no sé si sea un problema de algún virus.
