Re: rfl.exe HELP
Okay, this is fairly simple to fix. So simple, in fact, that it took me six freakin' hours to figure out.
To begin with, I already had Reason installed on my machine. I dunno if it matters or not, but if this doesn't work, install it without the CD's, first.
Open up My Computer.
Go to tools, and then folder options, and then tick the "View" tab.
Untick the "Hide extensions for known file types" box.
Tick "apply to all folders", and then hit "Okay".
When you go to the file, you oughta see the .exe along with the .rfl.
Remove the .exe line. It should yell at you about the file possibly becoming unstable (which, I laughed at, because nothing I've got is ever really considered stable by XP, but I digress). If you've got a crappy machine like me, it'll take a while for the file to change to .rfl, but when it's done, it ought to take on a Reason icon (that is, if you've already got the program on your computer).
Hope this helps.
