looking for a way to isolate drum tracks

hi.

I am a drummer in a band looking to cover a song but use programmed drums, while i play rythm guitar. I have spent weeks trying to program the drums convincingly to the original and have failed miserably. is there a way to take the cd audio or mp3 audio track of the actual song and take everything but the drum track out and save that as another mp3? please email me at mrmarainga@aol.com

Unfortunately, that's like getting the eggs out of a cake after you've made it. So the answer is no. You'd be better off to keep learning how to get the drums programmed.
