Need to take a sample of cd and convert it to wav or aiff

Hi there. I have the opposite problem to joel.
I need to transfer a sample track from an audio cd and convert the chosen sample into a wav or aiff.

I have tryed using Qtime pro 4 and win media7, but are having no success.

Can anyone please sugest an audio package that can do this for me, which is FREE

Try AudioGrabber with the Mp3 encoder dll that is provided separately, it works perfectly !!!
