Go to www.download.com and download "Winzip". It
is shareware that will extract all kinds of archived
files. Be sure to get the one that matches your
operating system, i.e. Windows 3.1, Windows 95, etc.

How do i play burned cds on cd players????

When i burn a mixed audio cd it will play on my computer
but it wont play on my regular cd players...how do i fix this??...please help..

when i play the burned cd in my truck it makes a whisling sound and for a while i thought it was the player but i put a store bought cd in and it didnt whistel.so how do i get it to stop if i burn cds??????????

Some CD-R's do not have enough contrast for older CD players to read. Your problem may just be that your CD player is to old for the disks you have. This, however, does not mean you nessisarily need to go buy a new player. Some people i know experemented with different brands of CD-R and found brands that work with their system. This could be a problem you are incountering.

I got this from the HELP menu from Easy CD creator:

To listen to your audio CD on a home or car stereo, the session in which you have recorded the audio tracks must be closed. To close the session:

1 Select Disc Information from the Disc menu.

The Disc Information tab appears.

2 Click Close Session.

3 Click OK.

Easy CD Creator closes the disc after recording the songs to the CD.

You have to turn the mp3s into wave files then you burn them on the cd

If you have not converted your audio files into wave files you must do so first before you listen to audio cd's in some car sterios some will play them in mp3 format but older ones will not. If you don't have an mp3 to wave converter there is one named like wise you can download. However, .wav files are much larger than mp3's and will limit you to an average of 18 songs per cd.

i'm thinking of buying this card when it comes out in the uk in a couple of weeks as i need a soundcard upgrade from my awe64 and it has all the features i need and a breakout box for nearly half the price of a gina (which doesn't have midi). the spec of the card sounds good but as its a new product i don't know anyone who has used it or has had 1st hand experience. i just wondered if any of you guys in the us or elsewhere may have it or have heard how it perfroms. any advice/info would be well appreciated.

Wow. Let's see. That post was 1998!!! First follow-up june 2000....
Wonder if all the advice here made him run out and buy one. I was wondering about this nice piece of equipment too. But the overwhelming websupport dazzles me. I think I'll stick to the SB Live! Platinum. They don't push their limits by giving you free support, drivers, software-updates and goodies like the ISIS people.

Interesting - last post in June of 2000. Well, it October now. IMHO, the Maxi Studio ISIS is the best multi-in sound card available. Now remember, I'm speaking from the perspective of a recording studio, not a gamer. But for the money, it's the best. The software could stand a little tweaking (to make it more user-friendly), but I haven't downloaded the 4.0 update yet, either. I'm in the process of mixdown on a 9 song project, most of which have 30 tracks. Of course, you can only record 8 tracks at a time, but who needs more than that in a home studio? The only drawback.........I can't put TWO of them in my system!

CATraxx 98 problem-Need Response

There's a commerical program called <a href="http://www.wildcat.com/Pages/AutoscoreWindows.htm">Autoscore</a> which will do the trick.
