Software Description

dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC), is one of those must have utilities, indispensable for converting audio files from one format to another. Part of dMC's formidable arsenal, is it's ability to rip music straight from Audio CDs! [optional install], or LPs. Formally known as Shuffler Music Converter, dMC continues where Shuffler left off.

Straight out of the box dMC can convert [from & to] WAV and MP3 files. Download options bring Windows Media Audio (WMA V7), CD Audio (CDA), Ogg Vorbis and many more file types to the table. Volume Normalization, ID Tag preservation, scriptable and the simplest way of converting (right click on a file and select Convert To), round of a perfect package. What's more dMC is free.

Yes, this is really working..! I have tried since 2 days to find program which can convert .act to .wav file. It was not easy because all (allmost 10) programs I have tried could not be successful (I have no idea why?) And now success!!

i have a copy of DBpowerAMP and it is very good, i use it nearly everyday to compess my music even more for my mp3 player. i was wondering there was any software that would convert videos to certain formats just like DBpowerAMP.

I bought MachSpeed 1GB audio recorder/player/USB Flash Disk three months ago. It records audio files in .act format. The OEM didn't include any software to convert .act file into an MP3 or a WMA format. I would appreciate if you can send me a link or the actual driver file to be able to convert the .act file into MP3 and WMA.
