Software Description

Awave Studio is a multi-purpose audio tool that reads 300 audio file formats from different platforms, synthesizers, trackers, mobile phones, ... - It can be used in a variety of ways - as a file format converter, as an audio editor, or as a synth instrument editor. Features include conversion, creation, editing, and emulation of synthesizer instruments, MIDI SDS and SCSI SMDI transfers, reading of non-Windows compatible AKAI, Kurzweil and Roland CD-ROM's and floppy disks, conversion of mobile phone ring signals, CD-ripping, simple MIDI editing, song playback, batch conversion, and sound recording. Supported file formats include synthesizers from Roland, Yamaha, AKAI, EMU, Korg, SampleCell, various trackers, mobile phones, et c, et c. what happend to microsoft synthesizer?

for a sythesizer software driver
it dissappeared!

this little utility is sweet it let's you listen to midis even if your sound card don't play midi plus you can install it as a driver so you can play midi files on any player.

i have a dell petium II at first i was able to play midi with windows 2000 but after my computer messed up i had to reinstal my operating system is 98 now. my sound card is a 2200 neomagic. it works fine for mp3s and other stuff but i can't play midi files does anyone know if there is anything i can do except that wave talbe synthesizer. i just wanna know if can play midi files using my sound card

Here. this is a program that lets you use Microsoft Synth to play midi files and its a fast download. i foun it on a Christian site.

Seeking Macintosh OSX Player DSS format voice files

I have the Olympus DM-1 and I synch it to my Mac OSX.3. The Olympus player does not install on OSX.3.

Please let me know if you know of a player that will let me upload and play and convert DSS files on Mac OS X.3.

I have a DS-320 recorder. I am looking for a copy of DSS Player Pro so I can upload voice files to my recorder. The DSS Player 3.5 I have does not allow uploading. If anyone knows where I can find the Player Pro to try, it'd be much appreciated.

I am looking for a medical transcription software for our orthopedic practice. We now have DSS Player Pro, which is a beginners version of a digital transcription software. We now have outgrown this software and need to move on to another. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I know of a sales person who sales high-end voice recognition software for dictation. He sales an entire system including computer, configured from the ground up starting at $2500. A DSS file that is 32KB can grow to over 1 meg as a Wav format.
