Software Description

Quartz AudioMaster Freeware is a powerful though easy-to-use multitrack recorder and MIDI sequencer running under Windows 95/98/NT/2000 and the best way to try the Quartz Audio Family software concept for FREE (fully working - no limitation at all - it's not a trial version).

It is intended for people who want to record, compose, mix, play and share music using a computer and a sound card.

It features 4 stereo audio tracks, 16 MIDI tracks, effect plug-ins, per-track EQ, Aux buses, Video sync, Score, GM/GS/XG and "Piano roll" editors and all the functionalities required to easily share musical projects across the internet up to its multitrack compressed file format.

It's not a virus

there is no virus. my virus defs are updated 2-21-02 and it finds no virus. found no virus before installing...no virus after installing. It will not run under xp. I think there might be a patch you have to download in order for it to work, but I'm not sure. I'm on a quest to find out, though.

I am having the same problem with several older games I want to run. I am using XP also. XP has compatablity modes to run using WIN95/98/ME, but all of those give me the "Not a vilid WIN32 application error" Any ideas why this does not work? I am trying to install Sid Meiers Gettysburg.

anything i click on my computer it says it cant run it because its not a valid win32 wateva...well im not too good at computers and its really distressing me bacause i need my computer to work...i really dont want to loose all of my applications...please can you help me? please...i really dont know what i have done to my computer and i feel really upset and i honestly dont know what to do...please help me!

Problem could be several things: corrupt files, files copied from CDRW drive, NTFS file system not meshing with FAT 32 system, etc.

The 64-bit XP platform is backward-compatible with 32-bit programs but not with 16-bit applications. If the installation program is 16-bit, the program won't install. If you attempt to install a program on the 64-bit XP platform, you might receive one of the following error messages:

Install.exe is not a valid win32 application.
Setup.exe is not a valid win32 application.

:this is obviously a program based with a FAT32 file table issue where conversely XP uses a nfts table - very uncompatable

a program exists called nfts dos that will convert the allocation tables of windows 98 or 95 to the xp or 2000 table - costs about $50
either this or reboot your sys with xp instead of updating and reinstall all your games

so i need the stucture of ntfs in details.
the main thing i want know wich sectors reffers to the root directory (their numbers)
for example fat32 its root directory begins at the sector
of (fat table size)*2+32

are not that of the mix, everything is at the level of when I first recorded the tracks not the levels I want with the mixer.

Check the Quartz AudioMaster Freeware forum on Digital Sound Planet web site, there are hips of tips, hints, questions and answers there!
If you don't find an answer to your specific problem, post a message in the forum with the description of you equipment, souncard, driver, etc...
You will be answered quickly, the forum is very dynamic...
