Software Description

Audio Software Driver Disk for Windows NT4.0 SDR-NTDRV-1-US (Revision 10)

Standalone x86 Sound Blaster drivers for Windows NT4.0 (English language) for all Sound Blaster ISA cards - SB16, SB32, AWE32, AWE64 and AWE64 Gold.

This update provides better support for ALL the above Sound Blaster cards. This update corrects sound distortion problems in certain cases.

Please refer to README.TXT for installation instructions.

Windows-based tools for developing DOS drivers

I would like to know if there are any Microsoft WIndows ('98 or 2000) based development tools that I could use to develop native DOS drivers. The problem I've encountered with the Microsoft Visual C++ IDE and the CodeWarrior IDE is that their linkers automatically link in the win32 libraries. I have been using a clunky DOS-based Borland IDE and would like a friendlier interface.

HP xl768 needs the SB Audio PCI128 driver (also found under driver for CT5801), not the generic SB driver, which is not the PCI version

Dont know how old this board is... but you need to ftp to microsoft.com and find speak.exe
it only works for WAV and doesnt direct X but its better than nothin

I AM LOOKING FOR ASOUND plus dRIVER all i see is the same emeel over and over again, the ftp and http are all not working, this all stinks here like hell. So is nobody taking care of this space, because otherwise just shut it down
