Software Description

Audio Software Driver Disk for Windows NT4.0 SDR-NTDRV-1-US (Revision 10)

Standalone x86 Sound Blaster drivers for Windows NT4.0 (English language) for all Sound Blaster ISA cards - SB16, SB32, AWE32, AWE64 and AWE64 Gold.

This update provides better support for ALL the above Sound Blaster cards. This update corrects sound distortion problems in certain cases.

Please refer to README.TXT for installation instructions.

You can get this driver from www.creative.com
The file is generic for all SB16 PnP Cards. You download the compressed file. Once uncompressed, you should see a file called UPDDRV95.EXE run this file, your computer will be restarted and your driver database will be updated, and your sound will work! no setting up involved! I hope tis works for you. This process works on Win95/98/ME and probably 2000 although I did'nt test it under Win 2000! Enjoy! Visit www.welcome.to/laoispc in appreciation to this!

No Bass / Treble controls under WinME

I'm using a SB16 PnP (ISA) under Windows ME. But I miss my Bass and Treble control in the advanced mixer settings - I only can enable stereo enhanced! What's the problem?

(You to detect the card using window)

Install the SB16 (CT2770) card as a (Soundblaster SB16 orAWE-32)(under win) or compatible from the Windows 95/98 list inserting the Win95/98 Windows CD as requested then when prompted to insert the creative disk, insert the floppy and ensuring that the floppy search option is ticked.

This does not install the Wave Device for Voice Modem (whatever thast does) but if you have a voice modem the modem CD should contain a Serial Wave Device which you can install this instead.
