I want to put voice recordings from .ACT files into MP3 format to play on Mac OSX. Anyone know how I can accomplish this?

I bought yesterday a MP3 Player/Recorder from TrekStor and that device is recording all file in nnnnn.ACT format. With the device comes Program on CD which can convert .ACT diles into .WAV files which are then about 3 times bigger than the .ACT files but in a good quality.
So I assume this is a commonly used format on devices which don't have very much spaceas this 128MB MP3 player/recorder.

Hi Rudi,

If you can convert the ACT file into WAV, you should have no problem compressing them into mp3 using a 3rd party conversion program, you should be able to find one on www.download.com. i think mp3 files will play on Mac OS as it will on PC.

On another note, i have a similar player but doesn't have the program which can convert act into wav, can you email the exe to me please?
