How do you record e whole song with fruity loops, save it and then convert it to an mp3 file?

Doesn't FL have an "export as MP3" function somewhere?

you can save little pieces of 2 seconds as mp3 if you choose the save as option, but I want to know how I can save a song I made (+- 4 minutes) to an mp3 format.

I've just tried it using both Save As and Export and in both cases it saved the entire track properly. Are you using a demo version, as it sounds like the mp3 option has been deliberatly crippled. If you have the full version, then I'd try reinstalling it to see if the MP3 encoder has become corrupted.
